In the U.S., absolutely. I'll even do one of those stupid little bets with anyone that begs to differ.
Hope this link will work

It's too late, you have offended me good sir! I challenge you to a duel!
[QUOTE="trup522"]Blessing in disguise. This way I at least can afford Mass Effect, CoD4, Guitar Hero 3, and maybe Assassin's Creed (if it gets good reviews).
Wait, I just read over that... My wallet is gonna cry.

you let Reviews Control what you get? i wanna see your Game Libaray. If a game gets a low grade you will still like. Same Thing with Wind Waker,It got 8.9 i think here. but when i played it was AAAAAAAAA...
Easy there tiger. I have no basis to go on with assassin's creed other than previews/reviews right now. If there's a demo, thatd be different, but I haven't heard anything about it. God forbid I read reviews to get a better idea about a game I'm on the fence about.
And I've played Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Killzone, Skate, and plenty of other things that don't get 9's and above here or other places and enjoyed them.
I made a new account because my old account was a 360 style name. I used to like the 360 and then a little pay for use download called "horse armor" came out. Thats when i decided to ask myself why im paying 60 dollars a year to play online and then have to pay for content thats already on the disc i bought just so that it will be unlocked.Dreadnaught3
I think you are in the wrong thread here. Nobody is discussing microtransactions...
They are both having a huge impact. The Wii is sucking up that casual market that the ps2 had the market cornered on, and the 360 is taking away from the demographic that the ps3 is targeted at.
Right now, the ps3 is getting hammered from both sides. It would take a miracle for it to not end up last in sales in North America. In Japan, Nintendo has a stranglehold and I doubt the ps3 will overtake it or even come close.
Europe is the only place I've seen that the ps3 stands a fighting chance.
The current sales are abysmal for the ps3, and Sony needs to do something to turn it around. Dropping the price quickly as they are doing should help and it is a step in the right direction. A marketing blitz showing off the big games they have coming up would also help.
It's too soon to say if the ps3 is destined to finish last, but it's obvious something has to happen to steer it away from this course.
They are probably right. The hardcore userbase of the Wii is overshadowed by the extremely casual, at least based on personal experience.
There are hardcore Wii owners, and most of them are Nintendo fans or multi-console owners, but those are outnumbered by the casuals, who are the ones buying the console in droves.
