That cant be real.MonacoX
I said that out loud.
Say what you will about console wars between the 360 and PS3, but this all falls on lazy devs. This is embarrassingly bad. At least try. I refuse to believe this is the fault of the PS3.

you sounds desperate and a bit immature to think that a forum membership is that important. what's the criteria for membership anyway.Ontain
All I remember was a decent email address that wasn't easy to sign up for, aka not gmail, yahoo, aol, etc.
I just signed up with my school email and a month later got accepted. Wish I woulda cared at the time, I woulda liked posting there now.
If the ps3 is difficult to develop for and does not start selling better, than ps3 multiplats will probably continue to be inferior. I think I heard once that the ps2 was difficult to develop for (correct me if I'm wrong, I am not sure on this). However, the ps2 sold a lot and it was worth it to developers to put the time and effort into games for the system.
The ps3 is not selling well. If it is not worth it to the developer to put a lot of effort into making the ps3 versions of their games great, they won't do it. They will continue to make superior 360 versions due to higher sales and ease of development. Sony needs to give these companies incentive to make better multiplats for their system, and the best way to do that is a larger userbase.
Blessing in disguise. This way I at least can afford Mass Effect, CoD4, Guitar Hero 3, and maybe Assassin's Creed (if it gets good reviews).
Wait, I just read over that... My wallet is gonna cry.
If I knew somebody with a ps3, I'd ask to try out the demo, unfortunately I don't.
However, I doubt I'd like it. I own GT4 and don't play it, and I tried the Forza 2 demo and didn't like it. For some reason, I hate sim racers. They don't give me the sense of speed like arcade racers do. It feels like driving a bus doing 10mph around corners, even if I'm doing 40mph.
Wow...
I registered once for Neogaf, and lost interest in two weeks after no word of account activation. About a month later my account got activated and I never used it since I hardly ever visited the site anymore. Unfortunately, I visit the site more often now and wish I could post. You just need to be patient. Outright begging them like this is probably gonna hurt things more than it helps.
[QUOTE="Fuzzy_Munch"][QUOTE="BreakingPoint8"]You don't need HDMI or HD-DVD to play the games, if you wanted to play the new Sonic or Knuckles game you would have to buy a new add-on. Sega CD and Sega 32x.
This is called progress, Microsoft isn't anywhere near as bad as Sega was. Sega Genesis in 1989, Sega CD 1991, Sega 32x 1994, Sega Saturn 1995, Sega Dreamcast 1998 in Japan / 1999 NA.

Well i think Sony takes the CAKE on just out right screwing there consumers.
I mean come on the whole FF preloaded on the Hard Drive thing and only a few Socom Maps supported after it. I mean WOW that was by far the worst milkage ever.
Yet the Halo 3 360 which costs more then the Premium, is not milkage? Microsoft is far more guilty of milking the fans, especially with the poor hardware reliability and the lack of HDMI output.
Look at it this way:
When the 360 came out there was the Core and Premium, the Elite came out which had HDMI and a 120 GB HDD, yet people were still getting red rings of death. Now all consoles have HDMI and use the 65 nm processors which are supposed to be more reliable, if they keep breaking down then it is going to be even more milkage for the people who want a reliable console that will work. Sony has only released SKU's with different hard drive capacity because it is how they can turn a profit from PS3 sales, as the larger the drive, the more money they make because the cost per GB is next to nothing for them when they already produce the laptop drives for their own computers. Some PS3's may lack the memory card reader but that is about the only difference, so how is it milkage when Sony is not forcing you to buy one console over the others because it happens to be better in terms of quality? At least with the PS3 you can replace the hard drive with a laptop drive and those are cheap (unlike the 360 HDD's)
Faulty hardware is not "milking" customers. If they were really trying to milk it, they would not replace the consoles and make people buy a new one, instead they took a billion dollar bath to give a 3 year warranty to show customers that they acknowledge the problem and are going to fix broken consoles for free.
