I call BS even when i disable the ABP I still get this new player which dont let me choose quality and the quality of the video threw that play are absoultly terribe. And I refuse disable ABP to do cause the website way to slow with abp off. cause gamespot like many other site have so many ads they slow the website loading down considerbly and ihave 100+ mbit connection.

I could care less about the 30sec ad before the video i fine with that, what i not fine with is the fact the player has no quality control and video it show tend to super bad quailty

I think it more of bug on the main page, cause the main page say i need to log in yet it remeber i use the black layout, and soon as i click any link to someplace else on gamespot i show as i am loged in, it seem the initial load of gamespot does not show you are loged in even though you are.

Yestereday i thought that was the issue, so i delete all my cookies and restart the process of getting to keep me loged in every time i visited, but kept telling i not loged in so i keep deleting the cookies and trying again, I then realized if i click any other link on gamespot after the initial load it show me as logged in, So i figured it the initial load of gamespot that is bugged, your really loged it it just dont show.

It not like its the first time the main gamespot page had "issues"

there video player as of late has been terrible it takes to long for the video to just start, and then video just stalls.. and i know it not my connection cause i have 120mbit connection,

ABP has filter blocking video on gamestop again. it not exactly shocking anymore, gamespot is probably the alone site i know about and use that has so many issue with ABP

This possible might fix the right click on links issue here. so far it seem to be working then again right click not working on gamespot.com has always been randomly broke, would work for day to then not work for weeks

As far as i can easylist fix the issue with privacylist , as i running todays update and with out any exceptions and it working. the broken links not work at random and needing to be right clicked to open is still issue that happens at random though

Also reported to abp about this and the broken links not working months ago, i dont think broken links is ABP issue though cause I had it happen at random when ABP isnt even enabled

I block ads simple cause there are to many ad the site take lot longer to load when ads arnt block, followed by the fact malware can hit you from ads

would seem ABP is now cuase video to not load, where as yesterday they was loading now there are not, soon as i disable abp videos load, that or reverting to fliter back up from a few days ago results in videos working again.

Tracked it down to easylist privacy filter. if you use that revert back to an earlier version of the filter and videos will work agian
