I can't believe Nintendo hasn't done this, at least made a way to manually increase the deadzone on joycons (if this ends up being the actual issue & resolves it). I turn my deadzone to 0 on every game that allows it, i hate being forced to use a huge deadzone, because i prefer small, accurate analog movement. But it would be better than drift, if it was optional, so u weren't forced to do this before the drift occurs.

@photographboy: the n64 seemed to happen because of poor treatment of the controller, i & many ppl i know have had probably 50 total controllers between all of us & the only ones that had drift were the ones we bought used, maybe 3 r 4 total max. This was having & using them almost 2 decades until i lost touch w those ppl for different reasons & i lost mine when i didn't pay my storage bill. Switch however can be treated perfectly, kept away from dust & it still drifts eventually. This is all anecdotal, but that's my personal experience.

@Pyrosa: drinking doesn't make u say things like that. Smoking something could do it, tho 😜

Headphone jack on the bottom is horrible. You can't lay back on the bed & rest them on your stomach while playing, which would be necessary for a heavy system like this, unless u were forced to buy a stand. I would never play games outside my home, tho, so that's the only use i have for a handheld, is to play in bed.

@m4a5: that's my first reaction. If it was only cheating, i would support it but then u get to harassment & "hate speech", which can be whatever the ones in control say it is. Then u get to "misinformation", which these platforms can claim is anything they disagree with, regardless of the truthfulness of the comments. These definitions can change depending on who's in control, & over time, so just because whoever is in charge implements things everyone agrees with now, that can flip on it's head in a generation or less. Now, it's fine that each platform or publisher bans what they want, because, there's always somewhere else to go. But, once there is only one gaming community that's like the public square, & there's nowhere else to go, there has to be protections for players in the US based on the Constitution, IMO. I realize it's a private company controlling it, but that was the case with phone companies, too. AT&T couldn't stop you from using your telephone because they considered something you said was something the deemed off limits. Anyone who hasn't been banned for something ambiguous, or things that weren't against any stated terms of service probably won't understand this until it happens to you.

Sadly, I can't reply to any responses because whoever controls GameSpot's emails are horrible & the links to everything they send me are broken, & haven't worked in almost 2 years. So, this is my opinion, & not a conversation.

This is why you don't preorder. Imagine all the people who already paid in full for the digital version of this game (u can get refunds on physical versions, or many don't charge until released).

I have final fantasy 13-2 collectors edition on ps3, but sold the ps3 to buy a ps4 & never got to play it (cuz no backwards compatibility, ofc). So, it will be nice to finally get to play it, for me.

I have never seen it before & it isn't that annoying to me. It's probably so popular because u tell people it annoys u.
