Have they fixed the matchmaking yet? I enjoyed the game when it first came out, but the game constantly put a team of solo queued level 20s vs a squad of level 100s. It single handedly turned me off of the game, because I could only play with a 5 man group or else we'd get slaughtered.
For those confused, [XXX] is not the new name of Battle.net. It's a placeholder, as there will be a name for each aspect of the platform. The streaming service will be called Blizzard Streaming, the voip service will be called Blizzard Voice, and the other aspects of the Battle.Net platform will follow suit.
@Nightflash28: Obviously not ALL of them fall apart, but these things have been consistently poor quality for me. I have 4 controllers, and only 1 of those works perfectly as intended. One has the peeling problem, another has a gigantic dead spot directly "up" on the left thumbstick, and the other that has a right trigger that requires excessive pressing to fully register AND has the peeling problem.
And no, I'm not throwing my controllers across the room or anything. I have a wired knockoff 360 controller that I bought the day Halo 3 ODST came out, and I use it to this day on my PC. Works perfectly.
@notchedbandit: I haven't played the new Deus Ex, but I imagine it's different. Are those microtransactions cosmetic, or are they shortcuts to unlock items? If it's entirely cosmetic and doesn't affect gameplay, then I feel the same. If it is not cosmetic, I'd have to judge it based on its obtrusiveness.
@str8killa007: Other than because it allows them to continue putting out free maps and game modes like Rumble, host dedicated servers, and award prize money for tournaments?
Absolutely no reason at all! How dare they release more cosmetic-only microtransactions that don't impact the current item-drop system and can be hidden?!?!? Time to throw my PlayStation out the window!!
