I never cared for the FNAF games, but the dude seems like a real class act. I hope he adds (only) cosmetic microtransactions, so people who do enjoy his games can continue to support him. If I liked his games, I'd buy some stuff just because.

@Xristophoros: Pre-loading is the big reason. I don't know how big this game is so I can't say if it's worth it this time around, but for some AAA games it's pretty convenient.

Of course, I'd much rather buy a game I know is getting great reviews (I rarely pre-order myself), but some games get reviewed as much as a week in advance, so in some cases you get both.

@Bread_or_Decide: It may be a first for video games, but it certainly isn't a first for art in general. Plenty of people express grief through music, film, and art (drawings). Video games are simply a newer form of art, so we're just seeing it in video games now.

@herpesthegreat: YOU play video games to escape reality. It's a valid reason, but certainly does not reflect the feelings of everyone that plays games.

Also, start doing some research before making ridiculously asinine remarks like "the people who created this have no soul".

@thearcticsloth: "Without actually reading the review, someone could think they're getting something different and that there's more than an emotional experience."

I'm not sure I follow. If someone buys a game - called That Dragon, Cancer, no less - based on a review's score without reading the review, or even watching any video of it.. it's the reviewer's fault if this guy didn't realize it's not a standard game?

The whole point of a review is to help consumers decide how to spend their time and money. If this theoretical person wants his money to be well spent, he should take the time to read into what he's buying.

Michael B. Jordan better have a cameo! It's not a Ryan Coogler film without him!

@Tiwill44: Honestly, while I was originally in the same boat as you, I now prefer ranked over unranked. I play a lot of private matches with friends, so my XP rank is higher than my overall quality. So when I play unranked, I often get matched with the pros, which sucks. Ranked offers a way to consistently get matched with similarly skillled players, which is fantastic.

@Keitha313: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auto_racing

First sentence calls racing a sport. If "driving car / sitting on chair / pressing pedal with foot / steering wheel with hands" can be a sport when the objective is to cross the finish line first, I don't see why it can't be a sport when you're combining it with soccer/football.
