people say doom3 didnt do anything new, yes it did having physics based objects online without lagging to hell half life 2 deathmatch or painkiller, it had lights you could shoot out and light switches to turn off the lights and have flashlight fight's all kinds of crap, doom3 did more original stuff than unreal tournament 3, the lighting/shadows on ut3 suck compared to doom3 engine. All unreal tournament 3 is unreal tournament 2004 with better graphics new levels and downgraded gameplay nothing new.

unreal tournament 3=badly optimized piece of crap, play's exactly the game as old ut's except the gameplay is even worse now than ut2k4, i was expecting physics based objects in the multiplayer atleast, wow this game feels so old.

UNREAL TOURNAMENT 3 SUCKS, the game runs like crap on my 7800 gtx 256 mb, i cant even use 1280x1024 no anti aliasing without framerate dropping into low 20s.

doom3 multiplayer is way faster and better, plus the games better optimized when doom3 came out it so much better and was more impressive, doom3 engine is better than the unreal engine 3.0 plus doom3 multiplayer has physics ut3 doesnt lmfao!
