@abHS4L88 I know some will be mad at me saying this but i dont care really. For me i could not stand watching Skyward Sword!!! It looks like crap! Sure i like a good story and game play like anyone but considering how many other GREAT games i had access to at the time which were in HD i did not notice Skyward Sword come and go. It was just not in my radar due to the lousy graphic. The presentation is really important nowdays. I remember seeing the game in store and i tried to play a few minute and just laughed how bad it looks and that i made the right choice selling my Wii early.
About controller, yes up to GameCube i agree, after that they went the other way with the casual focus. Wii U added what exactly? a giant resistive screen! Personally i see it as a step backward. The Pro controller has what exactly that is unique? if anything it lacks the analog side buttons that are needed for car games for instance.
Sooo where are the games? they have had like atleast 5 years and they couldn't release Zelda day 1? Its not like they made the Wii U a week before release.
Also if they care so much about games why do they make a bloody tablet who no one wants nor needs!!! I lost my faith in Nintendo first after the crappy Wii and now they pull this stunt on Wii U, if i see atleast 10 awesome games from them i might just might consider Wii U and these games better all support the Pro Controller.
Up to Nintendo to prove itself. And one PS4 hit the market they loose my attention. Just as Wii got old news when PS3/X360 started getting great games.
Very true, also i like to add that they should look at the parents and see what sort of environment they are providing to their children, its a known fact that the children imprint from their parents so if you live in a house where the parents are violent or abusive the children will be affected negatively so in the end everything has to do with their environment/Parents and the set of rules they set for their children.
To blame in purely on gaming is a lame excuse to move away from the root cause.
@LingeringRegime @zintarr Precisely! No one is asking the right questions, and just want to point a finger. The finger should be pointing to the parents. Also in a country where guns are widely spread there is no question this is bound to happen more often than other places, sick people are everywhere and with guns around well its just flaming the fire with more wood so to say.
You could say the same thing about violent movies but no one is going for that since movie companies are just to big and powerful.
@JayQproductions @vampyren I actually read an article (cant remember on which site now) that this was the case but it might be as you say. We will all soon find out may 21. I really hope its not true though. This would kill the device for many many people.
@riccardo90 Power has everything to do with it! When next gen consoles come developers want to make games based on engines that run on all platforms without allot of optimization and guess which console wont cut it?
Your comment would be valid 8 years ago but not today when there are tons of great games on each devices and PS3/360 rule the market with awesome games. I dont even have the time to play 1/10 of the best games so why invest in a new console that is almost as good as existing ones? People really want to see the true next gen console with all the jingles and bells , not just a tablet and a slow menu as i hear people experiencing. Just look at PS4 demo, it kicked ass, the demo game, the features with the video share and it was seamless. that is what will sell NOT a tablet which they pretty much advertised all the time. Yes Zelda would be great but i no longer buy a console to play a handful of games sorry. I did the mistake with Wii and sold it once i had played the firstparty games.

Today you need to have a great hardware as well as software to compete. Only relying on Nintendo IP wont cut it neither. Wii was garbage (not even HD) but thanks to the new founded userbase survived to the cost of its more hardcore users. I was hoping to get back on the wagon and was looking forward to a true nextgen and more streamlined controller. What does Nintendo do? They play cheap again and make a mediocre device with a tablet which is neither a good/functional tablet nor a good controller. Something no one wants nor needs.
Now X720 has gone mad with always online thing so only device remaining for me atleast is PS4. I think Sony is going to be very happy with this development.
