verdugoRE4 Blog

The followup to one of my favorite games of all time.

Resident Evil5 (which, if I'm not mistaken comes after Resident Evil 4) is mine. I bought it for the 360 2 days ago, and so far I'm having fun with it, dispite the fact it pretty much ripped the structural formula of RE4 and stuck it into RE5, with a few adjustments here and there. But hey, I'm not complaining about the uncanny similarities, visually it's amazing and gameplay-wise it's very entertaining, especially with a friend to play Co-op with you.

In other news, I'm very sick right now. Hopefully this has NOTHING to do with Swine Flu, I want to finish RE5 before I die:P.

No more game buying for a while lol, F.E.A.R 2 and RE5 took huge chunks out of my stash of cash. But they were worth it!

Not a bad gaming week.

Bought myself Half-Life 2 for the PC (for the excellent price of 10 bucks), and Dead Space for the 360 this week.

One of my more productive accomplishments lately, besides also finishing the Endless Setlist on Rock Band 2 (on Expert Guitar), which was disturbingly long and grueling, but overall very satisfying!

Not a bad week at all:D.

Rock Band 2

ima getting it!

But not completely sure when, it's coming through the mail. I've been waiting since Friday, but I pre-ordered the Rock Band 2 BUNDLE which wasn't in stores at the time of me ordering it. It went out in stores last Sunday, so it should arrive soon.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the Xbox 360 Elite I got for my birthday:P. Check my blog out on Giant Bomb for the details:

Can't wait to get Xbox Live connected, and Rock Band 2. Plus, I have a sizeable amounts of cash saved up, so I might buy some other great games for it.

Horray for not being stuck with my PS2! (Even though it's awesome, I need something new:P)

IN THE SADDLE AGAIN, IM BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK.

LOL

But yeah, I'm back from my trip. It was great stuff, I might blog about it and stuff. For now though, I'm just glad to be back in my own house. Hotels FTL.

Two day absence. (And OKAMI)

Song Of The Day: The Day I Tried To Live by Soundgarden.

Yeah, not much to explain besides that. I'm going with my parents to this festival, staying in a hotel and everything. And it's pretty cool since the fest is for people from Costa Rica:D.

You don't meet many people from my home country much here in Germany, so It's bound to be a great experience.

Oh, and another thing:

I just finished Okami today. And lemme tell you, it's one of the best 58 hours I've ever spent playing a game. It's definitely up there with one of my all time favorites. Absolutely beautiful.

Well, I have to hit the hay. Big trip tomorrow and all.

Until then!

I'd like to Quote myself

Song Of The Day: Float On by Modest Mouse

PAJ89: I have a question for you. Which game, Rock Band or GH3, will have the better song list?

Me: Rock Band. Its not exactly what I want to answer, but from what I've seen it offering so far, its song list looks formidable. But GH3 has its strong points as well, so its not to be counted out. But Rock Band has an edge in getting good music. I was sold by the time they offered the whole Nevermind album! But with that said, I'm not buying Rock Band. GH3 is good enough for me.

I think I was right:P. And now with GH4 and Rock Band 2 coming out, I'm still backing up what I said in that ANCIENT blog. Rock Band 2 is going to outshine GH4.

Or will it?

Heh, I'm kidding.

P.S: That was so properly quoted, that in that time, I didn't type with colored font:P.
