Hey guess what Im a proper gamer, I play games on my PC and on consoles rather than boasting about one format over the other like too many people here do. PC games and console game share one thing in common: They are both video games. If you like games then quit pretending to be PC only and enjoy yourself by playing some of the amazing console games out there too.
The 360 is easier to develop for therefore studios face lower costs if they choose to produce a game for the 360 rather than the ps3. I believe that in a few years developers will really get to grips with the ps3 once they have learnt how to develop for it but comparing the number of studios working on 360 titles to ps3 titles it shows how few development houses there actually are who are working out how to get the best out of the ps3. Either way its unsuprising that the 360 has the edge.
When i play games I want to play them on my 42" tele, sunk into the sofa and I can sit there for hours given the right game. I could never do that with a PC game, its not as comfortable or enjoyable. Sure I could connect my PC up to my tele and do it that way but its just to much hassle. Consoles appeal is the very fact that you can buy a game and KNOW that it will work and KNOW that you will be able to play it without any faffing about with software keyboard and mouse controls. Call me old fashioned, call me lazy but the majoyity of the gaming market clearly agrees hence why console gaming is far more popular than PC gaming.
What do you mean "our" flop? We're all gamers and play games for fun, who cares what system its on. 360 has great games - play them enjoy them. ps3 has great games - play them and enjoy them. Rather than constantly comparaing every game that comes out, play the game yourself, treat each one as a separate game and enjoy it for what it is. Some people really lack perspective.
Im sure 1080p titles will come in the future but tbh most gamers dont have full HD tvs so I guess its not worth it for devs to spend the extra time to make a title in 1080p
