now, this is something i've thought of based on facts and how these two consoles progressed throughout the years....

PLAYSTATION series had an effin whole lot of RPGs(mostly JRPGs)under its belt... yet almost never ever got an elligible FPS that can be called its own until COD3 i think(killzone?? wtf.. that was pure sh*t... can you guys blame me for not expecting so much on killzone 2???hyped, i would say...)

XBOX however, established itself as an FPS arsenal ever since... with metroid,

If sony didnt drop BC in the newer SKU's, I probably still wouldn't own a PS3. A few days after hearing about the 40 gig PS3 completley dropping BC, a buddy of mine was selling his 60gig for $400 so I went ahead and bought it. Yes its true, I own both the PS1 and PS2, but it would be a hassle to keep those hooked up to my TV along with my Wii and 360. Having one system that plays all those games is just extremly convient to me.

You bring up a very good point. Graphics and sound matter to me to a point. In half-life 2, it seemed like the characters and the story were drawing me into the world. Thats how it is for most games for me. But if there is something in a game that looks or sounds horrible, it can really bother me.

I just finished Viking, and every time you climb up a rope, it makes the most rediculous sound effect. It didnt ruin the game, but it always made me laugh everytime I heard it. Does anyone else know what I am talking about in Viking?

Sony should be head and shoulders above the competition come then, they already will have Blu-ray, but this time, I suspect them to run with a more normal CPU, unless they get 2 cells in there, or a more advanced cell.kool-aids
