[QUOTE="vintageBliss"]actually it supports my dedication to the system and affirms my experience with it. Also, it disproves that i'm a wii hater. so it's quite relevant.:roll:Saying that you own it is not putting a flame barrier around yourself.ok man, whatever u say. ur right.[QUOTE="ActicEdge"]
Your investment in the Wii is irrelevant. I don't see why "supporting" the system with money gives you the intelligence to have a high level conversation about the state of the system (i.e. it doesn't)

look i own paper mario, galaxy one and two for the wii, so I don't need anyone telling me about mario games. I've been playing mario games probably before u were even thought about. In my opinion, the games just don't appeal to me as they once did. is there anything wrong with that? my gaming tastes have changed. Now if u give me another pikmin or geist on the wii i'd be happy. or i wish rare would come back and do a sequel to jet force gemini. nowadays i prefer a little more substance in my games. sorry.[QUOTE="vintageBliss"]

This is the internet. Why do you think that statements like this hold any weight? For all we know you could be 13 years old.
Maybe you should make actual points instead of trying to artificially boost your credibility.
i've made several points.the fact that the wii is incredibly underpowered. my investment in the wii is pertinent so you can try and understand that i've probably supported more than you.[QUOTE="vintageBliss"]

What facts? It seems to me that all you've presented is opinion.
Who cares how much you've invested into your Wii? How is that even slightly relevant?

Ok. i want my games to have a story with incredible gameplay and level design, hence the reason why The legend of Zelda series is my favorite of all times. I'm not bashing the Wii, just presenting the facts. Furthermore, I bet that I've invested more money in the wii than you.[QUOTE="vintageBliss"]

The world is appealing to the crapton of reviewers that have given the Mario games this generation scores excellent enough to make them the second and third best reviewed games of all time.Mario's world is brimming with creative level design and interesting quasi-psychedelic art.
Who cares if it doesn't have a story? Its succeeds purely on its unparalleled gameplay, something that most games these days fail to do. If you want a story, go play MGS again or go watch a movie. Not every game needs a story.
You say you're not an HD fanboy, but your rhetoric sounds like all their typical talking tiredpoints against the Wii.

Video games allow the player to delve into worlds that they can't in real life. That world is not to appealing. Now you give me a reason why it could be?

I can respect sonicare's perspective, (even if I disagree) but yours is rather weak. First off give me one good reason why Super Mario Bros CANNOT be better than everything on the HD twins?
