It certainly isn't in the same league as either the 360 or ps3. All the major groundbreaking titles have come out on those 2 consoles IMO. They just have the horsepower to put out the graphics and game engines that cutting edge games require. The wii just isn't in the same ballpark at all. It's not that the wii doesn't have fun games, but it just doesn't play the ones that have moved gaming forward.

Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 both moved the platforming genre, which is a part of gaming, forward.
Also, what titles do you consider as having moved gaming forward?
Now the galaxy games are definitely cool, but still they can't hold my attention like a game such as enslaved. Would I rather play goldeneye, the game I basically played in college over ten years ago, and "wait for it" the conduit or killzone 2, halo series, resistance, duke nukem, crysis, etc.. The wii is not in the same league. It's like watching the first star wars in standard def compared to watching avatar on blu ray. Star wars is classic, but bigger and better films are more appealing.
