Considering Home will be offering everything that Live has and more, will many people be "Jumping Out" from their Live Gold accounts?

I just cancelled my Live Gold account a few minutes ago and I'm still Gold up until the middle of May, which is when Home should be out.

If not, then what would make you turn in your Gold badge? What could the competition do to convice you of it?

Because it's freaking annoying,
if it's anything like xbl's in game XMB, every time someone signs on, you get a pop up,
whenever someone messages you, you get a pop up,
whenever they sign off, you get a pop up,
and it interupts the game you are playing, voice chatting and messaging is great,
but, I'd literally kill my friends list if they implimented in game XMB,
the pop ups drove me nuts on the 360, constantly something would pop up,
and if you hit the wrong button when they did, in the middle of the game,
you'd lose half your game screen and be stuck in either your mail,
or your friends list screen. Annoying.

Little Big Planet and GTA4. A little futher off Resistance2 and hopefully KZ2. Hell maybe the MGS Online will be good too. Funny thing how everything with any longevity is on PS3.... along with good short single player games. And of course PC games completely dominate longevity.... Can't wait for Spore and the next Total War game.Lazy_Boy88

QFT. I've always noticed this with Sony consoles. How many hours have we all sunk into FFT on PSone?

do you just go on these forums trying to bait people? last time i checked, i was a gamer. but hey, if you want to limit the fun on yourself, by all means go ahead. did i ever say i hated sony? no. did i ever say i thought the PS3 was inferior? nope. i even said i'm going to get one in the future. let's break it down, shall we?

resistance - good game, not enough for me to bite, though

heavenly sword - played it at a friend's, liked it. he beat it in two days, traded it in

motorstorm - looks good, racers aren't really my thing

warhawk - prefer a single player experience, with the exception of maybe worms, team fortress 2, and a bit of halo 3

uncharted - very cool game, but i admittedly liked gears better (and yes, the cover mechanics and gameplay are similar)

ratchet and clank - sorry, SMG takes my vote

lair - ummm

so, that's most of the currently available exclusives, i believe. everything else is multiplat

meanwhile, I (no, not every gamer, I, yes, I) loved Bioshock, Gears, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Condemned (believe that may have been multiplat), and Dead Rising. right now, IMO, more games i like.

Hardware BC doesn't upscale, though, and from what I heard it does make a significant difference.
