That's what I could come up with. Alternatively :
"Le langage s'est doté du mot "isolement" pour exprimer la douleur d'être seul, et du mot "solitude" pour exprimer la gloire d'être seul".
Which would be the equivalent of :
"Language has created the word "loneliness" to express the pain of being alone, and the word "solitude" to express the glory of being alone."
I didn't really like that element of repetition in the original quote. But I'll leave that choice up to you ;)
