[QUOTE="voltron2011"]I started my franchise play. I went with florida. offensively they're solid. only real problem there is Pitching. Players tend to get injured alot. I'm looking into some trading options tho. Defense is woefull to say the least. I wanna do a complete overhaul there. I'm giving myself 2-3 seasons to get a WS ring while keeping my payroll tru to life. I think I can pull it off lol:roll:gamergeek545
I'm sorry I dont think you can pull it off im sorry

I'm not doin so bad. My payroll is 16M and my rec is 32-19. lost my last 6 but I'm still only 4 games back of Mets. this season I set my own personal cap at 18M. in the next 2-3 seasons I'll only allow myself to go up to 31M which is what Florida spent on their last WS team.

Cubs and Pirates must like playing each other, 13 innings first game; 15 the second. Wonder what they'll do tonight?

blackngold29

I say low 20's. lol They definately have each others number. the game will be fun to watch.

Happens when you send a line drive at the pitcher too. But like you said still a great game to play. Got the marlins off to a 2-4 start. Swept the mets in the season opener then went on to lose 4 in a row. got swept by Pirates and lost game 1 to Nats. 2 more left in that series. Hopefully I'll get it turned around.

Brewers win in extra innings to go 6-1, Gagne blows his second out of three. Cuento (Reds P) looks great.

There's been some talk about the Tigers not needing to worry yet, what about now? Keep in mind they traded a good part of their future to have the lineup that has lost seven straight to open the season.

The season's still young. They're workin out the kinks(some serious kinks mind you) but there's still a whole lot of baseball left to play. I believe in the power of mlb 08 and it says detroit will make the preseason.8)

Okay here's the deal, I want a new baseball game and I have heard that MLB 08 the Show is better than MLB 2k8. The problem is the only system I could play the Show on would be PSP. I would rather get a console version which would lead me to 2k8 on 360.

Is the Show that much better than 2k8? Would it be better for me to get the Show on PSP or get 2k8 on 360? (or just wait till next mlb game comes out).

-Arki-

I totally understand hesitating to get a PS3. They are expensive and the price isn't going down all that much. IMO I'd rather play MLB 08 on a PSP than 2K8 on a console. The game is just unplayable. Yes it's not quite the same experience but it's still very enjoyable.

I'd use spoiler warnings or the spoiler tag if it doesn't glitch whenever dealing with a story-driven game, even if it is old, just to avoid the off-chance that it spoils something for someone.

***SMALL SPOILER***

Impossible, as far as I know. Your actions directly affect your relationship with other characters, driving them towards you or away from you, if I remember Knights of The Old Republic II correctly. From what I've heard (No, I didn't beat it. I got bored half-way through.), you will have to fight Kreia at the end no matter what. You might want to check GameFAQs just in case though.

Also, while I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, I'm quite sure it's a Sith tradition to defeat the master to prove how powerful one is.

By the way, have you met HK-47 yet?

xmen1414

This is my second run through of the game, i don't find it boring at all. I hate how one line of words can change someone to the net light side!!! I guess i will have to do what i have to i like getting trusted by them. They fight better , but if i have to be dark by making them hate me i will.....

With both KOTOR games I played with 2 saves. A jedi and a Sith. Both were good to play but being Sith is way more fun cause you get to be an a** with nothing holding you back. (well nothing but that little voice in the back of your head saying don't be such a douche bro.) Neither story was boring though the first KOTOR was the better one. I hope they expand the game more. ie beter graphics smoother gameplay and even more options.

I have had CoD inside it for a while now... A few days maybe. trying to complete all those shotgun challenges. :x

And while we're talking about superstition or whatever it's called. Will the PS3 eventually overheat when turned on for too long or something? I'm a little afraid leaving it on during the day folding.

jimm895

I haven't turned my system off in months and it has nnever had a problem. When it's folding the system doesn't really heat up as much as when the disc drive is being used for anything.

I was that way w/my ps2. I may have turned it off 4 or 5 times in the same amount of years. I get paranoid about the ps3 only because I spent so much on it I'd really be bummed if it stopped working so I always turn it off.
