Don't judge 2K8 by 2K7. 2K8 is completely overhauled. The Show will be great, but very similar to last year. 2K8's right analog stick is just beautifully used (at least in theory). Think NHL 08 vs NHL 2K8. Which one was better? NHL 08. Why? Because of the analog controls. I think MLB 2K8 will better for that same reason.TKandPBC

To me controls are secondary. You just need to get used to what-ever they are.

What bothers me about 2K is the gameplay, I get tired of the home-run derby's. The Show is adding more 'sim' features for the console like the hot and cold streak hitting feature.

That came out last year.... NCAA Football 08. Also played MLB 2K7 which was ok, and NHL 08 which didnt like.mrgab

The demo for the 'Show' is up on PSstore. It's awesome.

Baseball is my game. I have to go with 'The Show' series.

Going with the Dodgers for my first season in the 'The Show' . I'm freaking loosing my mind waiting for next week. Does anybody know if you can create players that are switch hitters?

Nice to see some other people looking forward to MLB 08: The Show. The demo is so sweet. There is a great preview of the game on ESPN.com if any of you want to check it out. A lot of stuff up there I hadn't heard about the game. Like you are going to be able to send hand signals to your base-running coaches and you can replay any part of the game you are playing ( so you can replay all the cool new animations like players crashing into walls)

The demo rocks.. It's amazing. I love how the crowds look and sound and how they grab foul balls and stuff like that. Peanut vendors walking around. I've never seen that in a game before, it really sucks you in.
