It's pretty remarkable how traumatic this transition between generations has been. Part of me thinks MS would be shooting itself in the foot to rush out another console, whether the hardware is reliable this go-round or not; seems like they'd be risking more ill will than they have already incurred.

But the other part of me realizes that gamers generally want the newest/biggest/best thing, so no matter how much they gripe, a lot of people will still buy it. Personally, I'm hoping it'll be no sooner than 2010.

i mean whenever a person with a annoying voice starts talking they go "shut the hell up" and crap! i mean this used to happen to me but my voice got deeper and it was annoying everytime i tried to say somthing some deep voice guy says "shut up" then i gett booted sometimes. people cant help having high voices!goshkarugukinywa

Not to pile on here, but you're not getting any younger either, you know. One day when you're 20 or (gasp) 30 something years old and you're playing some online game and being annoyed by kids, you'll understand. And you'll tell them to shut the hell up, too.

I think a great scenario for Dead Rising II would be any scenario that doesn't involve Otis calling you on the tranceiver every two bleeding seconds. My great hope is that he'll be killed off in the opening cutscene this time around instead of some random poor little girl's mom.

Ah. Well, there's a hardware shortage. MS has been complaining about it a lot recently, if you've missed that; it's to that that they're attributing PS3 outselling the 360 this past month.

But if that's what's bothering you, the Elites have been mostly out of stock at Amazon for some months now. They'll occasionally get a few, but they sell out super quick. I managed to snap up one in early December when they relisted them for a tick, but they were sold out again within the hour.

In The Darkness, when your girl gets killed in the orphage... It really got my blood boiling. I found myself screaming at the TV. "I'm gonna #*%*ing kill you, Pauly!" And I'm a really passive person, lol.

I can't think of any game that's ever made me cry, though back in the day one of Uematsu's songs from FFIV (I think it was "The Giant of Bab-il" or whatever) nearly brought a tear to my eye. Not sure why, it's not a sad song or anything, but I find it sort of... moving.
