Obviously this isn't targeted at you folks that are already into AC, it's aiming to get more people involved, chill your beans!
I don't actually like the games all that much, find them a tad tiresome after a while.. but if it means people can own the whole collection in a one-time bundle then fair play, and the fact they'll be brand new and not pre-owned is quite an incentive.
Nice to see the UK get some attention as well! Never happens!!
@constantterror I'll half agree with you on the American website quote.. Folks are always going to back their native companies than foreign ones. It's fine, but when your view can affect millions there should be limits.
Also, in relation to the 360 vs PS3 argument.. One simple answer.
We don't have to pay fees to be able to play our console online with friends. They're labelled M$ for a reason :P
@jasonredemption Same here pal, been on this website for many a year. It is saddening how the industry is heading, there's always been console wars, but that was only really in the eyes of the consumer.. and it was all good natured. More and more journalists seem to side with specific companies though now which in the long run damages sales for everyone. Probably down to the fact that the console war kids have 'grown up' (not to be taken too literally) and have since become established in a career in journalism!
I want all companies to do well, no-ones wants a monopoly because then there's no competition. A perfect example is Call of Duty. Game sells millions every year unchallenged so the developers do sweet f all to innovate it, they're under no pressure.
@snakebite6x6x6 @jasonredemption Doesn't have to be a fan boy to be fair, i read about the exact same figures on IGN over the weekend but they didn't use the words 'denial', nor did they describe the exchange rates as being "unfavorable" in speech marks. It almost comes across as sarcastic.
I'm quite happy to read the gaming news on here, but the truth will always be it's a biased website. It's just how it is.
Microsoft's hardware figures were down on last year as were Nintendos (possibly aside from the 3DS). It's just the state of the industry, consumers are either waiting for next gen or already own the current platforms. Of course sales will decrease. Branding Sony's gaming industry as deteriorating however is just preaching biased views, sales are slowing, that's all there is to it. Considering they're still pushing out new IP's this late in the console's lifecycle shows they're willing to do what the competition won't, and that's reward it's gamers year on year for buying their console.
Label me with the fanboy stamp if you wish but Jason has a valid view. Too many journalists are biased.
@SuplexKirby @willsoonbegone @SergioMX Only half of the original Warhawk team actually progressed to make Starhawk.. that's why. Ingognito games split and Lightbox was formed.
@xolivierx @a1450358509 @KingofCabal Are you sure you've actually played it? A cowboy western set in space..? where you can build your own bases.. It's like tower defence meets 3rd person shooter. That sounds NOTHING like unreal or Halo in the slightest you twonk.
