I remember when I used to play Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 and download the mods people made. There was guy that made a Halo mod, all the vehicles and everything.
Next thing it disappears.. Download link not available. Microsoft stated it was an infringement of their copyright law and blah blah blah blah. The modder himself said nothing more on it.
I LOVED the original zombies on World at War, but they've turned it into a bit of a joke now.. all the power ups and catchphrases..
I personally wish they'd have just focused on the fear factor more than anything, remove the silly little glowing eyes and actually make a proper job of it.
Was excited for this video.. but i'm left disappointed.. Again.
I'm all for pre-ordering digital versions of games and having them as a midnight download.. but why the hell are the prices the same as a hard-copy of the product??
No material costs, no logistical costs, no lending to others, and far less likely to be copied...?
Just doesn't make sense. Not shifting to digital until they sort their pricing out.
With me working full-time and now also starting a degree gaming for me just doesn't get the focus it used to.. and even i can tell the market is becoming saturated with sequels and spin-offs.
I don't mind sequels, providing there's actually a decent amount of difference to it's predecessor.
