Lets just all face it. Laptops for gaming are worthless. Look at it this way. You buy a laptop for gaming, and I mean a good laptop, your looking at around 1,000 -2400, and thats just the facts. Then , you can't upgrade, and in two years, your looking to sell it and buy another. Laptops for gaming do not make any sence.

Well I have to admit guys. I am an AMD fanboy. I hate all others. But, AMD has gotta step up there drivers. Its like having that uncle in the family who is funny and stuff, but he's also the uncle that gets weird. you know what I mean......
Look at my Sig. Very similar build. And I run games like a mad man. No issues maxed on 1920x1080 with it at ultra for all games.
I am not trying to poop on anyone's parade here and believe me I like seeing potential new builds, but you know what? Their are a million different ways , brands, coolers, etc etc that can go into a build. You wanna feel accomplished 100 % with a build? Why don't you read up on the benchmarks, FPS reports, and all the data from tomshardware that indicates through a lot of articles what is best for what.
None of this is relating back to who is better nvidia or amd. All this is saying is that since the next gen of consoles are built using similar x86 architecture, that any next gen games that go to all 3 systems , ps4, one, PC, will run better then its consoles counterparts which is true no matter what hardware you have as long as it beats the 2 yr old GPU that AMD provided for both "next gen consoles" and other stuff. We will see more titles (hopefully) coming to PC then in the past. But, lets all face the facts here, the thread(s) about what is better etc.... blah blah, mean nothing. MONEY TALKS. The money growth in the gaming industry is getting JR a 400 or 500 console, and paying leaps and bounds out the wazoo for games at, with tax , 64 bucks and change a pop. And if, IF a company makes a game, in all three platforms, the odds of seeing a "optimized" for PC version and not a crappy port, (which all of us PC gamers have seen time and time again) will maybe change due to the fact the architectures are similar.

Even John Carmack himself, the so called "godfather" of pc gaming has admitted in various interviews that console gaming is focus, PC comes second. I personally lost a lot of respect for a man with such an extensive resume, who puts out trash like the RAGE disaster we all experienced at launch on PC. To further my point, ID Software would be the LAST company in this industry I would think would EPIC FAIL so hard at a PC game, which used to be their bread and butter.

You have an Intel HD 3000 Integrated Graphics Card. You are NOT having any issues, what you are describing is the Graphics Card giving you 110% and still falling short, because it is not supposed to decode large HD video files or play games. It's just for casual video watching and very light gaming.gp19

Okay so looking at the zoomed in pic on newegg, I can that it has standard plastic "static" mold for the heat sink to clip on. Now, we need if you can please, a pic of the heat sink itself, clips, as many details as possible.
I would recommend you taking all the advice here and using it. Meaning, I would put your stuff back to stock speeds, disable all "boosting" software, anything that runs in the background or ingame such as origin in game etc.... Then unfortun. here comes the pain in the @$$ part, but one by one turn stuff up or OC or turn on for background software etc... until it errors. If you are running stuff with the system in what I like to call a "barley running state" meaning the most simple stuff is in use, and it still freezes, you may have an hardware issue definitely at that point.
I got an idea, Provide us with the make/model of the motherboard you got and we'll see what we got then
