Ha I knew Id see Halftime over exaggerating the loss. I mean sure it was a ridiculous loss. They had Kobe and Pau back, had a good lead through most and were LA against one of the worst teams. No excuses. But even the Heat lost to the Wizards this year.

Every Laker loss now is just over magnified because of how the season's gone and their trying to secure at least an 8 seed.

Do I think the Lakers can win a title this year? Heck no, Im not blind. Theyre finally getting things together but its too little, too late.

I'll still take OKC, Spurs, and maybe the Nuggets over them (Grizzles) in a series, although I think it would be far from easy. I'll take the Grizzles over the Clippers, because I think the Clippers are full of ****.No_Hablo_Ingles
I assume this was replying to me. Anyway, no it wouldn't be that easy. I did not mean theyd get swept.

Well the Clippers have gone down lately but they did beat them last year. It would be an interesting series.

@ No Hablo, I see what you mean and Im not saying theyre worse, obviously not. Its just...if they met the Spurs or OKC again who would you pick? I mean even if you don't think theyd be the clear cut winners...wouldnt the Spurs or OKC be your first feeling?

[QUOTE="wildcat2000"] Plus theyve gotten help from the refs. Against the Magic, I think, Shane Battier gets a charge that should of been an And-1 at the end and today the who-touched-the-ball could have gone either way. Honestly going down 20+ and settling for jumpers at the end, Cavs deserved to win. Jagged3dge
Yeah because those games were totally decided by one call :roll:When you give up a 27 point lead, you don't deserve to win.

Well in the Magic game the guy made the shot just before the offensive foul was called. Thats when Lebron had that gamewinning layup afterwards. Had it been an and-1 or a no call they would have lost.

Todays call...had it been given to the Cavs, they could have tied or won. And really you can't think settling for jumpers after coming back from 20+ is smart. They should have attacked the rim.

I didnt mean the calls decided the winner...Im saying the refs have helped them in key moments.

[QUOTE="wildcat2000"]I was a Grizzlies doubter and still am. Ok so the trade didn't crumble them but are they any better? Id still pick OKC, Spurs, Nuggets and maybe the Clippers over them.No_Hablo_Ingles
Yes- addition by subtraction. Every Rudy Gay possession is now given to Z-Bo and Marc Gasol, who are more efficient scorers, and Tyshaun Prince is a better spot up shooter. With Gay 29-15 (66%) W/O Gay 17-6 (74%)

Ok that is better but its not a drastic improvement. Even with Rudy Gay I never thought of them as true contenders. Like I said way before outed in first round last time and the year they beat the Spurs without Gay was just one of those crazy flukes where an 8 seed beats a 1. Its happened before. Doesn't make you superior.

Its dumb thats keeps getting brought up.

Anyway its funny how people are all...oooh the Heat can't lose, great win!. I like the Heat but this is exactly what I said in the other thread. Playing down to their competition. Even if Irving (spelling?) played theres no reason to go down 20+ to the Cavs. Plus theyve gotten help from the refs. Against the Magic, I think, Shane Battier gets a charge that should of been an And-1 at the end and today the who-touched-the-ball could have gone either way. Of course loosing the streak to the Cavs would have been pretty bad (with Lebron thing and all) but the worst would have been the Celtics. I dont care who ends it now.

The format changes for travel reasons. It's not fair to ask a team to play a game 4 in NY and then fly to LA 2 days later for game 5 and then 2 days later go back to NY and then if it goes to 7 you fly all the way back to LA. It's way more convenient with the middle 3 being all in a row.-Halftime-
That still doesn't make any sense. Through the whole playoffs its fair to do all this traveling but in the Finals (the important round) it's not?

Game 7s always end up back to the team who does, technically, have homecourt anyway.

No. They play down to their competition too much. Eventually it's gonna catch them.

They get good leads and comfortably finish games against good teams but they struggle with crap teams. Even last year. They have so many close games (some overtime) with teams like the Kings and the other day the 76ers. Its like they literally can not help playing down their competition. Its like an inability for them.

They should totally crush teams like this and as we know for whatever crazy Twilight Zone reason they really struggle with the Bucks.

Of course a title is the most important thing. The streak is nice but to answer the topic, thats my reason for saying no.

To me NOT getting Homecourt is better cause you get 3 straight at home. This is kinda unfair imo. Why does the format change in the Finals? Seems pretty pointless.

Shaq said Kobe wouldn't miss any games. Who thinks hes playing tomorrow? Its against the Pacers right?

I heard people talk about going to Germany. I never knew about that. I read a little on it and Im kinda surprised Kobe and other athletes would do that. To have medical procedures done that are not officially proven and are not even allowed in the US. Even if I was rich, no championship is worth trying experimental treatment.

I have the PS3 version but asked here cause its known as a PC game. Anyway just can't seem to make progress. The little Ive done I feel was just luck. I love Bejeweled 3 but with Zuma it just feels like theres too many variables to keep track of.

Also alot of times the balls will change color the split second I fire it. Is that normal or something wrong with mine? Its really unfair and keeps messing me up.

Still think its harder than it needs to be. Like 50,000 for extra lives? Took me like 5 grids to reach that. Theres too many variables (get combos, coins, gaps etc.) You dont have time to evaluate. Bejeweled has some too but they happen within flow and you can't lose over them. I mean your success doesn't rest on them. Its just how fast you can keep matching.
