@with_teeth26: saw Power Trip at a small local venue of about 300 people and it was wild as shit. Loved every second of it

yea same, not sure of the exact numbers but probably around there. It was them opening for High on Fire, epic show.

sadly heard the lead singer passed away (not sure how) not long after I saw them.

In no particular order and definitely forgetting some/excluding random openers (guess what type of music I like lol):

  • Soundgarden (after they reformed in the early 2010's)
  • Queens of the Stone Age
  • Protest the Hero
  • Black Label Society
  • High On Fire
  • Gojira
  • Devin Townsend (x2)
  • Opeth
  • Mastodon
  • Deafheaven
  • The Ocean
  • Power Trip
  • Ghost
  • Baroness

Spidey cause it'll actually be polished/finished when it comes out.

Suspect Starfield will be the more interesting game though, even if its bad

These Spider-Man games are highly overrated. I still can't bring myself to finish the first game, let alone start playing Miles Morales or get excited for the sequel.

yea I never finished it either. swinging around was fun for a while and the combat was fine but nothing special, not much else going for them. open world activities left much to be desired.

@R4gn4r0k: Be interesting in knowing COH3 sales.

given its steam player numbers, and the fact it only released on steam (at least to my knowledge), I don't think it did very well.

its coming out on console at the end of this month - can't help but feel they probably should have focused more on the initial PC release and waited longer for the console version, as the PC version was pretty rough at launch and lacks multiplayer content + some other features like MP progression that CoH2 had at launch.

noooooo

I think they made the Rising Storm expansion for RO2, and Rising Storm 2. both of which are two of my favorite MP tactical FPS games.

this is a huge bummer.

Hopefully Tripwire picks up some of those who get let go and keep some of their projects alive in some shape or form.

i'd say its worth it. game has improved a lot since launch.

still not a great BF game, but there is fun to be had and i'd say its worth it at that price

Nintendo really should just port their games to PC at this point. you can already get the best experience there, but without the option to pay for it

I one hundred percent agree. They don't have to do them day and date, but give the option for people that don't want to be held back by Nintendo's hardware, *ahem*... philosophy.

They never will. They want their own device so they can control the experience completely. Imagine Nintendo doing PC tech support.

Nevermind that just think of when Apple first ported iTunes and QuickTime to Windows and imagine Nintendo providing that type of experience on PC.

I think the current way to play Nintendo games on PC is probably the best way.

i mean, they could do what Sony has done and hire a in-house studio to make and support PC ports. I imagine that'd pay for itself pretty quickly.

not sure how people pirating/emulating games on their PCs is the "best way" for Nintendo

i don't mind waiting for PC ports - as long as they are actually good ports.

be nice if we didn't have to wait 2+ years, but its better than not getting PC versions at all. games aren't aging the way they used to so its not like most well made games will feel dated after that time period.

never had a really awful job.

honestly, the most I dreaded going to work was my very first job, at 16 when I started working in a video rental store (when those existed). They gave me one day of training, then left me to run the store by myself for 8 hours every Sunday.

I barely knew what I was doing for the first while. I'd have to call customers and tell them they were late returning rentals, at which point i'd get verbally berated. One guy threatened to come in and beat me up, but never made good on the threat.

I think if I'd been properly trained it would have not been so bad. but the stress of going in and having to deal with inevitable situations I didn't know how to handle really made me dread going to work for the first few months.

I quit before too long for a better job, as the pay was shit anyways.

My next job involved working as a receptionist/janitor and I didn't like that one either but at least I was properly trained.
