pretty sure this kind of thing happens all the time. people move around to different studios. not a big deal

plus, if he was there 7 years, he probably didn't do any work on the Dishonored games which are still the studios best work

Tough question... without thinking about it too much:

Seen: I did a trip to the Yukon in 2019. we saw wolves, a lynx, Aurora Borealis, and some outrageous views/scenery in the Tombstones mountain range.

Done: Recreational: climbed a local mountain called Sky Pilot

Professional: finished a brutal 9-month post-graduate diploma in GIS at a technical college

Eaten: Fish and Chips made on the beach, from several different types of fish we'd caught just before in the ocean (Rockfish, Ling Cod, Cabezon)

@TheHighWind Yellowstone was so cool. been there a couple times, but not for a while.

I've played a few hours. Its pretty basic, but can be fun in co-op, especially the village defence stuff once it starts getting harder.

Yea, I think so, but as others have said I'd need to have current knowledge otherwise i'd probably end up making the same mistakes again.

I don't have many regrets, but there are a few choices I'd do differently, would like to see the alternate timeline there lol. Would mainly love to avoid the concussion I had a few years back that has impacted my life in a pretty major way since.

I hate it. feels like shopping for people. You really have no idea if you have any chemistry with anyone until you meet up so it leads to a lot of first dates that don't go anywhere.

also just tons of flaky people who will cancel last minute, and if the girl is at all attractive, you know you will be competing directly with a bunch of other guys.

I've had multiple instances of having a date lined up with someone who seems interesting, then that person tell me before the date "oh I've just met someone else and want to see where it goes."

I know some people who've had success with online dating, but for me its just been endless frustration and disappointment. A lot of the people I have met up with, seem just as burned out as I am on the whole scene and its hard to create a spark when both people are in that jaded/burned out state of mind.

so I decided to "take a break" at the start of this year, and its been awesome.

I think I'd much rather get to know someone outside of the pressure of a first date the first time you meet them, and see if there is any chemistry/connection before going down that road. I don't think I make the best first impression, and it often takes me a while to warm up to people as well, so I just don't think I'm well suited to online dating.

Sadly, Its tough to do that once you leave school. so at this point, feels like I'm just stuck being single, and thats honestly OK.

I went through a brief phase a while ago (maybe 10ish years) when I was playing a bunch of Dayz with a group, and some of the guys in there were recording stuff/making videos. I decided to join in, and made a brief attempt at making videos from our exploits and put them on YT but never took it seriously.

in general, if you do that as a career, seems like a good way to ruin your hobby.

I guess if it didn't move the needle on GP subs and didn't sell, that might not make them happy? but you'd think at the very least, will help them maintain current subs.

still the second-bast game I've played this year (after RE4 remake)
