That, and the fact that Oprah gave away Kinect to her crowd on tv, which will have gave the mom an idea on what to buy the kids this Christmas.

So by your logic, if I don't like a part of some game I buy I shouldn't pay for it? Like if i bought Halo Reach, but I didn't like one level I shouldn't pay for it? Seriously wtf? When you buy a game, you buy the whole product, not just the parts you love.

1. Have you played any PC shooters before Halo? I've played a couple FPS a long time ago on my old PC, a bit of CS and Battlefield 2

2. Have you played GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, and TimeSplitters before Halo? (Basically console shooters that are actually good) Had GoldenEye and Perfect Dark, and played a bit of TimeSplitters

3. Are you not easily stooped by marketing hype? Marketing hype can be good and bad.

4. Played RPG/FPS hybrids like System Shock 2 or Deus Ex? Haven't played ether of those, but I've heard good things about them.

5. Played a lot of PC strategy and role-playing games? The only type of PC games I play are RTS (Starcraft, Warcraft. Dawn of War)

6. Hate Michael Bay movies and have artistic taste in movies? They are good popcorn movies not to be taken seriously, unlike good movies like Trainspotting and A Clockwork Orange.

7. Are you well educated? Just started university in Creation 3D

8. Read any books other than the godawful Halo novels? Read everything from the Halo novels, to Tolkien, George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, Poe, HP Lovercraft, The Legend of Drizzt, etc.

9. Played any LucasArts adventure games?

10. Do you have high standards and good taste in video games? I doubt any Halo fans fit into any of these categories, if they did, then they wouldn't be Halo fans. I fit into all of these categories, and I'm not a Halo fan, I'm a Valve fan. You sir, are just a butt hurt fanboy who can't see that people have different taste in everything.fascargora

And from my sig you can see that I love Halo.

May be the biggest game of 2010, but I doubt people will be playing it online in 10 years.

*hints at Starcraft 2*

Also Black Ops will sell far more.

Wasdie
*Hints at Halo CE, Halo PC, Halo 2 and Halo 3 still being played*

[QUOTE="wizardwd"][QUOTE="fredthekeb"]... sorry but you cant have 3d without lens for each eyes... its how 3d works... its for hardcore gamers... but who are responsible for the rise of the market?... its the hardcore gamers... but today .. the industry mistakenly leave his own creators(hardcore gamers) and try to reach an audience that does not exist...

The 3DS disagrees with your statement. 3D can be done without glasses, the only problem is that it isn't viable for tv mass market yet.

... you just point out why I said its not possible...

You misconcieve what I say, it's possible, the tech already exists, it would just cost the normal consumer too much money. Your statement says you "cant have 3D without lens for each eyes" yet the 3DS does exactly that.

[QUOTE="amaneuvering"][QUOTE="fredthekeb"]

What about giving the real signification to 3d and having a new peripheral to ps3 and/or xbox360... taking advantage of moves tracking already there... the only thing it miss... is a 2 small 4 inches 720p LCD screens setup mounted on your head... et voilĂ ... you have a fully virtual machine... all you need is two small lcd screens and a connection to your PS3... I want to know what you guys think about it... Thanks...

fredthekeb

Using VR style glasses is just another gimmick where the technology clearly isn't ready to do it properly so why bother. It's still not Virtual Reality's time yet. Right now I think the best option is to get the glasses free 3D done properly and across multiple consoles, handhelds, PCs, TVs, whatever else, and then we can worry about looking at the next evolution in 3D immersion when the technology is a bit more capable.

STOP BLAMING BUNGIE FOR THE FREAKING PRICE! IT'S MICROSOFT THAT SETS THE PRICE FOR THE DLC!

Seriously people.. Also, how the **** do you know that the maps were ready when the game was shipped? Do you work at Bungie? No. The only way to know is when the are released, to see if the data was on the disc or not.
