you know what? everything in Sci Fi millitary shooters is 99% from Aliens. without Aliens FPS would never be what it is today, maybe it wouldn't even exist.
if someone made 1,000.000 game points he most likely found loopholes in known broken achievements and was grinding them. it sure is a lot of "lifeless" work, but i think it has more to do with planning through and timing which achievements are achieved at what timing.
@jb0nez I would rather play a game that runs on the Source engine, which has some of the, if not the best netcode there is, than another Battlefield that runs on the Frostbite engine, crashes every day, has terrible hit detection, that appearantly can't handle a tick rate higher than 10....
you see the point? the Source Engine works, it simply WORKS. all those fancy new engines, Cryengine, Frostbite, even ARMA 3's RV4 engine- they all fail at being a platform for a competitive FPS.
Titanfall is exactly what it's vision was intended it to be- a fast paced, easy to get into and challenging to master Multiplayer FPS. Titanfall isn't trying to be anything else, it's a focused cohesive product with very little filler and all killer.
Titanfall has many elements but they all come together beautifully, this game has synergy and balance. basically ALL multiplayer FPS i've played recetly felt bloated like an old car with so many new spare parts they are about to fall apart any moment- and Titanfall is the first game in a long time where i feel like everything come together in the gameplay and nothing is wasted.
