Armored Kill had me spend about 200 hours more than i assumed i would on Battlefield 3, most games don't last me for much longer than 40 hours... I think DICE and EA knew what they were doing with Premium, because Battlefield players like me do spend a LOT of time playing Battlefield for the most part. Close Quarters was a dud, Aftermath is great, and Armored Kill was literally essential sublime life support for BF3. EndGame? we shall wait and see...
I think DICE, Bioware and Maxis should simply band together, defunct from EA with legal terms because EA is actually making them lose their jobs in the long run. EA is like a virus, and the amazingly talented companies that are under EA only suffer from them. it's such a shame that a game with such amazing depth is broken not because of Maxis, but because of EA's intrusive buisness practices and terrible overwatch. EA are the reason Mass Effect, Battlefield, Dead Space and now SimCity are choking and struggling to appeal to their very core audiance- and it's only EA.
EA need to wake up and realise that gamers have become much more consumer contious than they have ever been before. they need to understand that shoddy buisness models don't work too well on us, because unlike in the super distilled casual world of IOS or Facebook games, we are not IDIOTS.
so stop treating us like idiots EA, and simply sell games like you normally would. you wanna earn our money? you gotta earn our trust first!
and also Capcom? please kill yourselves, seriously i just can't bear to watch you any longer... just die... i dunno why, but i had to bring this out.
