@wladolfputler: Most people aren't and just go about their day to day. You're looking at a forum of people who are compelled to comment about it regularly. It's important to recognize this doesn't represent the norm. Honestly IRL I never talk to anyone about this stuff and nobody approaches me with their own views either. Same thing with System Wars.
I remember there was this one dude Telekill (I think that's who it was) that was getting depressed on the regular in here because it's like he didn't think about anything else and seemed to view things through this one lens, really needed to touch some grass. I hope he's doing ok.
It's important to stay grounded.
I got ya! It is just...i spent some time on Reddit....and OH MY! That whole thing is even far worse there! So you guys here are actually not even that "bad" when it comes to this and i actually should ask this question on Reddit, but guess what happens there if i would ask such a question on r/politics (a place where i am actually banned already)?
My thread/comment would either just get downvoted into oblivion so no one can see it or, and thats rather what would be happening (if it wouldn´t have happened already), some mod erasing it so as it never even existed there along with banning my ass.
I guess i also told it somewhere else here, that Reddit went to a total shitstain of a site within the last years and now shit is hitting the fan there with Trump and all things related to thim.

...on a serious note...why are you americans so furious when it comes to politics?
I am european and while people aren´t aware of that fact, i just have to say something bad about Biden and americans instantly throw me to the extreme right, do i on the opposite make fun of Trump (as i am doing most of the time LOL) then the right instantly throws me to the political extreme left.
Don´t you guys taking all this political nonsense a lil too serious?
i think for some people, politics have become their identity, part of their personality.
An interesting point, but you think those are really just "some" people? As it looks to me on a site like for example that Reddit-Shitstain, there seem an awful lots of people with obvious personal issues then.

It's our conservatives who are aggressive and prone to approaching politics with pathos.
That´s what i was also observing way too often.
Now i am living in Austria and we barely have to do with politics happening in the US, but then again we have the Q-Anon movement here, a pretty fu**ed up organisation if someone would ask me.
Now a few years ago, one of my colleagues at work called me and told me about "the latest news" of american kids being "raped" and "slaughtered" by a secret movement, with mostly liberals behind it. I was thinking the fu**er is probably just fu**in with me, but the nutcase was dead serious with that and from that time on, he went downhill to the point of having to take medications for his mental problems (which haven´t been too obvious at that time)
Back those days when he made that call, i never even heard about Q-Anon and all those "fake news" they were spreading, kinda pretty shocking if you realize that one of your friends (who suffered certain mental problems to begin with) fell for that stupid crap.
So that raises the question, how mentally fu**ed up are those Q-Anon followers really?
