[QUOTE="wolfbm"]For the love of everything sacred DO NOT listen to BlbecekBobecek!!!!!!! You CAN NOT make all the decisions of the game via comic book!!! Anyone who says you can hasn't played the game themselves and just used the comic book and a trying to make themselves feel good about skipping me1!!! As I state I don't even personally play ME, but from just watching my wife play it vs when she uses the comic book about 10 decisions are made in the comic book vs the 350 decisions made actually playing the game! (350 is a high number it is based on making the point of the comic book cookie cutter version)BlbecekBobecek

What key plot decisions are carried over through save file on PC/360 and are not carried over through the comics?

Maybe ur right there are some, but from how I have played the game, it was extremely customized to whatever I did in ME1 on PC thanks to the comics. You should have a source or at least name a few decisions that carry over via save file and you cant make them via the comics...

Being that EA said that the little decisions will play a part in ME3 those decisons aren't covered in the comic. I can right off the cuff think of a few (been a while since my wife played ME since skyrim has been the game as of late so pardon my memory lapse. Remember I watch her..not play the game myself so hardcore fans can help me out here) The decision dealing with Batia's wife, whether you help scan the keepers or not, what you do to the reporter, your biggest fan always wanting a signature/picture are some minor ones to note. I have heard the Batia and the biggest fan WILL be part of ME3.

[QUOTE="sts106mat"][QUOTE="kuraimen"][QUOTE="sts106mat"] Of course i favour the 360, but like i said to blibecek in a crysis2 thread earlier today, my usual response to someone asking "which version should i get?" is "get the version for the system with the controller you prefer". however in the case of ME, the TC has an opportunity to experience something truly unique in gaming, why would anyone advise him against it?

Unique in gaming?? carrying over saves have been done since waaaay before. And they made sure to give PS3 owners a way to solve that on PS3. Like I said you guys are trying to make it sound like it is a completely different game if he doesn't play it on 360 which is BS.

what games have done that, with character likeness, story decisions effecting the games stories including characters being alive or dead? please do tell. it is not a completely different game, its just a better experience.

I get the feeling the only one lost here is Kuraimen. No one has stated the game is superior on one system..though a few of your post tend to you saying as much for the ps3. Everyon keeps talking about 360 version because the OP is getting ME1 for the 360 and is curious if he should get the rest of the games on the 360 for his save file vs using the comic book. Is that why ps3 fanboys are called cows..because they see 360 and start seeing red totally forgetting what the post is about?

Favoring a system is not fanboying it. I favor black shirts but will I only buy black shirts? No! Thats the difference between favoring and fanboying. I prefer something vs I will ONLY buy something.

[QUOTE="wolfbm"]i'm thinking about getting my wife the Normandy models for x-massts106mat
what normandy model?

If you go on EA's official site store they sell replica models of the Normandy and the Ceberus version of the Normandy for like $30 each.

[QUOTE="wolfbm"]According to EA all those "little decisions" will begin to matter in ME3. They stated they failed to allow that in ME2 but are bringing it full circle in 3. As stated I don't play ME but since my wife is a super fan of the series I am daily checking up news on ME3 all over the web not just what GS wants us to know. For the 5 news articles I find on ME3 doing some searched maybe 1 of those articles appear here. As far as the argument that ME3 will come with special goodies for PS3 owners that is pure rubbish. I don't see anyone getting a bonus for using a certain system but if they would do that it would be for the 360 (not fanboying just stating what i've found). First ME3 is being melded in to the kinect with much publicity...have you heard anything being touted about the move (i'm sure the move supports it but have you seen big publicity about it)? The biggest fact to prove this "goodies" claim is that as of late EA has made it quite clear that the only ones getting goodies are the ones who support EA not by supporting a console. If you need proof of this then remember back that if you bought EA's BF3 you got early access to the ME3 demo. Did they say if you support xbox or ps3? No! They said you support us....EA is about EA.kuraimen
Sony doesn't hype the Move as much as MS hypes Kinect. For all we know they could be working on support but both are gimmicks in the end and I would bet 1 million dollars that the game will play better without Kinect or Move. And they giving some extra goodies to the PS3 version make sense since this is the first title that is going to release on the PS3 alongside the others so they would want to lure some people to the PS3 side. It doesn't work for them to make a game that doesn't sell on one of the systems, it is better if it sells strongly in all.

Agreed I don't see the kinect or move being advantagous to the game. If you watched E3 it wasn't MS hyping the kinect for ME3 it was EA hyping it. As far as your concern of if PS3 owners will buy ME3....there are quite enough fanboys out there who will make up the difference..don't worry about that. People who say I HAVE to play it on ps3 or not at all. The only ones who truely benefit from the fanboys are the game developers.

oh i agree just from watching it (and you know being a ME fan that i've watched the game alot) that this game is so involving that if you want the experience to be yours you have to plaay 1-3 on one system with YOUR saves...not the comic.

whoa ...had to do that right after I said we agree ha ha! Calm down sts106mat I don't see anywhere in CanYouDigIt's post that said the OP should play on PS3. He/She just stated if you are going to play the game play it 1-3 on one console.

sts106mat i've noticed a trend where you and I agree so many times on this forum. This is where blatant fanboying doesn't make sense (honestly being a fanboy makes no sense to me since true gamers play all games not just hide behind one brand lable). Taking an epic in scale game as ME and wanting to cookie cutter it with the comic book option just to be able to play ps3's version (which will be exactly the same as the 360 and pc version).
