1. You play as jack in 1914 at the age of 19 to finish the story and do anything you didn't complete in the game. Sadly once John is dead he is dead. You can never play as him again unless you get Undead nightmare. 2. The government officials are basically the law and from what I could gleen from the game was that the government and the army were trying to set their foot in the west. There really didn't seem to be a personal vendetta against John it was just the gov trying to rid the west of the outlaw groups. John used to be part of Dutch van der Linde's gang but became reformed and the gov saw using him as a way to rid the west of Dutch's gang. The only thing I saw was that the gov (hopefully not sounding like I agree with what the gov did) didn't fully trust that John wasn't going to revert back to being a gang member so they used his wife and son as a bargaining chip. In light of that after John killed everyone including dutch the gov ,still with the untrust of Johns motives, decided that in order to ensure that Dutch's gang never returned they opted to kill it's last surviving member.....John. The only confusion to this is the fact they let his wife ,Abigail, live even though she too was a former member of the gang. I guess they saw John as a killing machine and needed him dead. 3. You can do the normal ones that you did in the game where you take over hideouts for a period of time but they revert back after said time is over. The multiplayer uses this as well but I recently tried my hand at it (mp) and it really seems kinda badly done. Just starting out there isn't a grae period thing or safe area, I got into my first mp game and as soon as I logged into the game world someone sniped me from the town I got ported to. Kinda kills it when you can't even load up without being in danger of being killed right out of the gate. 4. YES!!! You play as John again (which was very welcomed by me since I hate Jack) and the events kind of take place between him killing Dutch and his own death. The story takes you all over the map and is decent in it's self...nothing ground breaking but still. In it you get to find and tame the 4 horses of the apocolypse all which have their own special ability. War is the best since you can run right through zombies and it sets them on fire. If you even care there is also a special hidden horse which is the Unicorn....while it's not impressive in abillities it is super fast (if you can get past the little rainbow that follows you). I won't tell you who but also in Undead Nightmare a certain important character from Redemption dies. The best part is after you beat Undead you can now come back and play through as John....sort of ha ha (won't spoil that) 5. I'm hoping praying and wishing for this one. There already was Red Dead Revolver and I hear talks of another I can't remember what the title was called though. Don't quote me on this or think i'm sorta confused with Assassins Creed but I recall hearing something about Red Dead Retribution.
while good advice on installing to the hard drive it kind of is a moot point if the drive won't read the disk. I had this similar problem with Civilization Revolution and while I know the game is buggy enough it actually was the disk. When I tried to install it it would get to like 49 -52% and then say the disk was dirty. Here apparently some games are super picky on how the disk is. Being a mature adult with OCD I take care of all my stuff (hence 4 xbox's and no RROD) and when I took my disk into Gamestop (where I had just bought it) the guy told me it had signs of damage. I asked how it could get damage and he told me from bumping the xbox or moving it while the disk was in. He didn't want to admit he sold me a shoddy disk since my Gear 3 xbox has not moved from our oak entertainment center since it was put there on release. Luckily I found a way to get a replacement disk and we are good as gold.

As much as I hate to semi-agree with this loser he did sort-a-kind-a hit a point that I frequently thought of but again it comes back to most girls aren't as crude as us men. I always thought how if a guy run naked down a woman filled street I promise you said man would be visted by the cops but now if a girl went running down a guy filled street most all guys would be grabbing the nearest camera device ha ha.
