@reavern: or they could go the other way.. Dragon Age 2, where they just said screw it, let's move on. let's just do a sequel (DAI), because DLC won't sell on DA2 because nobody likes it or will buy it...
i think Andromeda could go the same way. because there is a mountain of issues here... they're better off spending their time just making ME5 i'd bet. at least i bet they'll see it that way.
idk how people can say the combat is good... the enemies do not have any brains. they do not counter any of your moves. you can literally just spam one move on every single enemy. there's no enemy that forces you to change tactics...
i mean, people bashed shadow of mordor for being easy, but at least there were enemies in that game that countered certain abilities, to force you to do more than just press 1 button to win, even on insanity difficulty...
the combat might be fun, if it wasn't so simple. the combat would be a lot better if the pc players weren't gimped with a console controller setup (3 abilities active with toggle to 4 favorite groups of 3, instead of 12 abilities on hotbar with separate cooldowns for each, like DAO...)
@artfull47: you can solo it, but you're forced to use bots for teammates, and you have to command them around, but you can't swap places with them and become them temporarily like a real squad-based single player game...
@CyberEarth: if i replay it, i'd probably get a fishing mod, because i don't find the mini-game interesting. and i just now saw a mod that shows all NPC locations in real time, so i'd definitely use that too. i haven't used mods for that game before, so it would be nice to see what modders have come up with since release. like i'm curious if anyone has been able to overhaul anything, like make your wife useful, or extend the game by adding more things to do, collect, craft, upgrade, and places to explore. :)
i do have a lot of other games to play before i consider Stardew again. right now, LongWar 2 just released for Xcom2... i also plan to get back to RimWorld. 350+ games on Steam and plenty i haven't touched yet.
@CyberEarth: i had no problem understanding the gift system and limits per week and birthdays.. my gripe is how you never know where the npc is at a given time because they move around. not at home, not at work, etc. i don't have all day to waste to go looking for a certain person.
how about the idea that maybe they come visit me once in a while after i first meet them? that way i could just grab a gift from storage and give it to them then and there...
first i thought i'd just bring gifts to one of those events and pass them out to everyone, but (as you'd know) relationships/gifts do not work during the events.
