Remove everything from your mobo except for processor and start from 1 ram stick installed. If it turns on and stays on then start adding more hardware. If it doesn't turn on with just 1 stick then change the ram. If it still doesn't switch on then it's prob your PSU, Mobo or Processor. You can test your PSU using a tester or using an old one. It would unlikely be you processor unless it's over heating so apply some thermal gel. If you still can't turn on then likely to be your mobo on the blink.
My friend removed his raid0 to check if one of the drives was overheating and now cant get it to reconfigure. The OS isn't on the raid drives. Shouldn't the BIOS automatically register the raid when plugged back in or does it need to be reconfigured. At the moment the Raid BIOS is reporting an error but he doesn't want to touch anything in case data is lost on them. Any help appreciated thanks.
use malwarebytes in safe mode along with their tools to turn off the working processes but if this doesn't work then the recommeded way is a windows wipe. The newer rogue AV are very very difficult to wipe fully.
What are the older type laptop dvd-rws called? The new ones are all sata or e-sata but what is the one called where the connection at the back is a single slot, is this just IDE like the HDD are?
