holy crap, yes. i never thought anyone else does that. a have a mix for vii, viii, and x. and i have another mix for all the games. its kinda soothing, and sometimes i have dreams about it, which is awesome.
I have to listen to music or the tv to fall asleep. idk why but i just cant sleep in complete silence.
normally il just listen to regular music (deftones!) but once in a while i will put an ff cd in if i havent played the game for a while cuz of school or work or something.
i like the ffviii story alot, it wasnt as mystical and far out as the other games. but it combined the final fantasy world with the world today, which is what i liked about it. some people were turned off by the seriousness of the game, but i actually enjoyed it alot, and it remains my favorite final fantasy.
