The journal and combat system alone in Morrowind makes Oblivion the far, far superior game. It really isn't even close. How can you possibly go back to that horrible combat and that tragically designed quest system after playing Oblivion, with its fun combat and beautifully organized quest journal? And don't even get me started on the glitches. Morrowind was at times a chore to play through. Don't get me wrong, I liked the game, but it isn't a stretch to say that I probably had more fun exploring that huge world than doing much of anything else in it. In Oblivion there's a lot more interesting stuff to do and take part in, on top of exploring the world, which is also fun.Zeliard9
Im going to have to agree with you there, I played the HELL out of Oblivion and I loved how you could explore and run into a bunch of crazy Deadra worshippers, then you would get a quest to go terrorize a town full of Kajhits. Now I'm not saying Morrowind didnt have quests in the open worldl you ran into but the characters just didn't have the same emotion and depth they have in Oblivion. Now ill be the first to admit the voice acting usually isnt that great but at least their faces change depending on their mood, and I usually assigned a personality to a character I met.. just a habit. The actual HITS in combat is a lot better tpp, Morrowind combat just irritated me to no end.

HaHa, I swear I'm going to start a cult and target people from gaming forums to join. Some of you hear one thing and you automatically base your decision whether to buy the game on that persons review. Play the demo, make the decision FOR YOURSELF. However if your like me and play certain games (like this one) mostly for the multiplayer, dont base ANYTHING on the demo or any single player campaign reviews..because multiplayer is usually a bit different...from what i've seen and heard this game is going to be great, and I can tell from the gameplay videos I've seen that the graphics are a big improvement from the first, but graphics aren't everything to me anyways.

PS...Gamespot, you need to get a new freakin text box for us to type messages in, this one sucks.

After watching I have to say, How is that FEAR 2? They've changed way to much about it. The HUD was better in FEAR, the health system was better in FEAR and now all the weapons looks like they're coming from some Star Wars rip-off and the weapon system is copied straight from HL2. I will say that it still looks like a good game though, it just doesn't look like it belongs in the FEAR universeo_sausage
You sir, are a moron. And yes, you are a moron for having a stupid opinion. They put a new coat of paint on FEAR and all you can do is moan? Give me a break already with all the "keep everything the same as it's always been and NEVER CHANGE ANYTHING" crap. I'm getting so sick of people who complain about little things in a game when the game itself is or will be great. Go play FEAR Files jackass, we will have our fun with Project O.

i dunno about the avitars but IMO party chat ruined alot of xbox live. It takes away alot of the teamwork needed in SOME games.
