Excellent article Brendan. It raises a fantastic point (albeit many others) that gamers are the ones stuck in the middle of this mess and how we should make our voices heard in these matters to potentially effect change for the better. Personally I've always felt a company that managed to come into the used game market and somehow managed to put a portion of those sales back into developers pockets, said company could truly beat down the rest of the competition.

A very valid argument when presented intelligently. I agree that while this may not make people magically "wake up" and reexamine their conceived notions of right and wrong, it is an important step in potentially bringing about a change that some may indeed want.

I love this editorial, especially considering how much controversy it elicits. Keep up the great work Justin and the rest of the GS staff, some of us actually think you're doing a bang up job.

Great piece Kevin. Many of the points addressed here are entirely accurate. It's interesting how naturally a lot of the choices as to what fits or doesn't fit is based on personal tastes, and yet some music can derive the same emotional response from a large number of people. Looking deeper may reveal we all have more in common than we think.
