If you didn't notice in my sig, I'm playing DK64 at the moment. Getting Golden Bananas has a Zelda-like element to it so far. Can't unlock one thing? It likely means that you have to go and unlock something else, come back and get it. I recently played that Aztec (or whatever it's called) level, and it really unfolded as I progressed. Took me about a couple of hours to complete that stage, looking for things like two characters before finally fighting the boss when I could have done it a long time before.

My friends and I hold an once-a-week retro night where we have tournaments in Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Tooie, Perfect Dark, and Mario Kart 64. It's quite hilarious watching us do the same crap as sixteen and seventeen year olds as we did as nine and ten year olds. Nostalgia is an immense feeling.

Cheezit + Dr. Pepper + Pizza Hut = Childhhod Memories constantly buzzing aorund in your brain.

dude i would hang out with you to have tournaments with classic games anyday. i wish i could have tournaments like that. nostalgia is indeed an intense feeling and brings great memories. i remember when me my bro and cousins use to play goldeneye and make up our on story in multiplayer. me coming to there base while they pretend to be asleep ad i start robbing there place and escape or get killed lol great fun memories i wish i had again

You missed out on another amazing end game boss as well. You fought King K.Rool in a boxing match using all five characters at different times.

Here is Part 1 and Here is Part 2. I highly recommend taking the time to watch those clips when you have the free time. Insanely fun battle and the end sequence is hilarious.

Oh don't get me wrong. Donkey Kong 64 is a brilliant title and one of my favorites of all time as well, but rounding up all 201 bananas is enough once. I don't want to do it again. Multiplayer on the other hand, is still a blast. Lanky = Pure Ownage.

Nope but I plan on finishing were i left off with Dk but there are so many other games that i haven't finsihed yet that I don't know if i'll ever complete dk64 :(
