xdude85's Movie Review #3: U.S. Marshals

Movie: U.S. Marshals, 1998

Type: Action/Drama

Starring: Tommy Lee Jones, Wesley Snipes, and Robert Downey Jr.

U.S. Marshal Sam Gerald (Jones) along with other U.S. Marshals are transfering prisonors by airplane from Chicago to New York City, everything seems going fine when suddenly a prisonor onboard tries to attack another immate causing a window to break and an entire wall of the plane is ripped off.  The plane makes an emergency landing, and crash lands in a river, everyone manages to escape before the plane sinks to the bottom, however one prisonor (Snipes) escapes from the wreak is on the run with charges of murduring two fedral agents that he claims was framed for.  The chase is on now as Sam Gerald, and they help of a fedral agent (Downey Jr.) as they try to catch the escaped prisnor.  But as the more Sam digs into the case he relizes there is more to this escaped prisoner than there is to it.  This movie was great, great action, good acting and not to mention a very good plot, this is a great movie so go and see it.

I give U.S. Marshals 3.5 stars

xdude85's Movie Review #2: The Grudge

Movie: The Grudge, 2004

One the few greatest modren horror movies ever made as this film digs deep into a curse so horrible that it unleashes a horror beyond anything ever witnessed on Earth.  An American nurse (Gellar) that has transfered to Tokyo, Japan, she then begins start to help a sick person and an old Japanese house.  She then sees odd things happening in the house, after the sick person's family shows up to take full responsibilty of caring for their relative.  But the family then disappears, and later all of the family is found dead.  The nurse soon relizes that a legendary Japanese curse is in the house and all come in the house will be hunted down and killed by the spirits who dwell in the house, the nurse must find a way to stop the horror or no one will survive.  This movie was great, it actually scared the living crap out of me for the first ever, this movie is awsome and super scary don't miss it.

I give the Grudge, 3 stars

xdude85's Movie Review #1: The Shining

Hey I've decided to start my own movie review blog, here I'll post and tell how good or bad a movie is that I've recently seen.

Movie: The Shining, 1980

Type: Horror

Staring: Jack Nicholson & Shelley Duvall

Stephen King's masterpiece novel is turned into one of the most popular and most memorable horror movies ever made.  The movie tells the story of a man named Jack Torrance (Nicholson) and his wife Wendy (Duvall) and their psycic son Danny become the caretakers of the Overlook Hotel.  But little do they know the hotel has a horrifying and deadly past as the evil powers of the hotel twist and mess with Jack's mind which leads him on an insane rampage on trying to kill his wife and son.  This is without a doubt one of the best hororr films ever made and you'll never forgot one bit of it after you see it

I give The Shining, 4 stars

1st Entry: Well I finished my first week of school.

I got past my first week of school at St. Mary Catholic School, I just started 8th grade and this is my last year there (thank God)  My school is absolute hell hole, it's depressing to go there everyday, and my entire class is filled with mostly brain-dead morons, the teachers are good and funny sometimes, but the bus ride home is without a doubt the most horrible thing that happens to me each day the kids are so annoying and even when have AC/DC turned up full blast on my CD player, the kids are still louder.  There are some parts that aren't bad though like my music teacher, he's awsome he's teaches us all how to play the guitar which is cool.  Overall this will be another agonizing year at St. Mary, after that I'll finally leave and go to High School.
