They are already close and Xbox SDKs and developers are closing the gap. Bottom line if you like it and are having fun, who cares? If you really feel like you're missing out on something that much go for it.
@foxhound_fox: I offered personal proof. OTher proof could be in the form of trade in numbers from the MS store and Best Buy, but I'm not looking them up. Suffice it to say that, it's obvious that no where near 150 million people still play the last gen consoles regularly. While I see nothing wrong with games being released for those consoles, your number cannot be accurate.
Side note...the PS2 only recently quit getting sports game releases. :D Supporting last gen can make sense, but not 150 mil playerbase sense. :D
@Wickerman777: I'm talking 4k. Microsoft could've subsidized the X1, given the lower costs due to economies of scale. Also, using a single game created by a substandard developer doesn't make for a good argument. The Witcher is poorly optimized and coded. 60 fps isn't uncommon on the X1. As for PC ports in the future...they'll be better optimized, or at least should be. Consoles are like fine wine...they get better with age. :)
None, I'm backlogging instead. If I didn't have so much Horizon 2 left, I'd likely at least demo Forza 6, but, frankly, the backlog needs dealt with before more games are added to the pile. The number of releases on the current gen has been staggering.
@battlefront23: It used to be the 80s, since I grew up then. However, now that I listen to stuff like TobyMac and Skillet, I prefer today's music. Still, out of the mainstream the 80s is number one with 90s R&B/soul and metal as number two. Oh, and very early 90s rap was really good too.
