Where are the Arcade racers? i don't like driving sims like forza or GT and neither am i a fan of cart racing games.

Forza's Horizon series of games are arcade racers. Although, everything is relative as one can change the settings to make Horizon sim-like or make Motorsport arcadey.

@neillh:
:D I clicked looking for NFL game choosing advice. :D

Anyway, while I haven't played them since I'm not a soccer fan, FIFA seems to be the best game for that sport every year and is in the EA Access vault if you want to try it out at a discount.

At this point, I'd consider waiting for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals. However, if you want one now, I'd get one from the Microsoft store. EVERY bundle they sell is getting Assasin's Creed Unity and a choice of any game you want added to whatever bundle you choose.

I was going to make this a multiple choice poll, but their are too many options. Anyway, for those of us who only play on only one console for whatever reason, which games would you want on the X1?

Personally, I'd most like to have Splatoon, Mario Kart 8, Overwatch, FTL, Cities: Skylines (It's coming...can't wait!), and maybe Star Citizen if it's good.

This year: (Not all exclusive)

Forza 6 (After I finish Horizon 2. So many hours of racing goodness left!)

Halo 5 (After reviews. I'm not a big Halo fan, but I liked Reach and Warzone looks fun.)

Battlefront (EA Access 10 hour demo FTW!!!)

Gigantic (Does it release this year? I didn't like Smite, but I'm looking forward to Gigantic.)

Next Year: (Not all exclusive)

Garden Warfare 2!!! (Can't wait, I have almost 300 hours into the first one!)

Gears 4 (Horde Mode!!!)

Battleborn (I'm a HUGE Borderlands nut and this looks like the Borderlands I've always wanted.)

Kerbal Space Program (Looks like a ton of fun!)

Forza ???? (Rumors of a third type of racer surfaced some time ago, it'd be nice for variety and develoment time for the others in the series.)

Quantum break (Will wait for reviews/a demo, however, the more I see the more I likey!)

Star Wars ????? (Whatever the Star Wars title is that is supposed to launch next year.)

EA Access Vault (Yeah, I look forward to additions to the Vault. Sue me! :D )

Wow, so much falseness in your post. I'll only address a little bit of this ridiculousness.

1) You're right that they are doing better with first party IP, however they have always had a good selection of titles they have created. Seriously, if people are going to count the 8-10 hour Mario games for Nintendo, then they need to count Microsoft's smaller titles as well. At this point, Microsoft has the best first party lineup in all of gaming, and it isn't close.2) The Xbox has as many third party games as any other home console. If not, I'd like to see a list of 3rd party games that are not on the Xbox. I'll assume that any list will be full of JRPGs and nothing else. Remember, second party titles, such as Sunset Overdrive and Bloodborne, are not third party titles as they are fully funded by the platform holder.

On a side note, I wish Microsoft would build teams to create sports titles outside of Forza. XBox already has the best Arcade-ish racer and Simcade racers on the console market with Horizon and Motorsport, so I want them to make NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, etc. games with both sim and arcade builds. I've hoped that their NFL deal will allow them to make a first party NFL game, even if it is more in the style of Blitz than NFL 2K5. It's also too bad they didn't get Star Wars. While exclusives stink for consumers, they do allow development teams to truly realize a game's potential.

To add to snowman's post, since you're not getting the Elite bundle, I'd go with the 500GB + external since the 4TB (or the 5 TB from Seagate) external is frequently on sale for close to the price difference between the two XBox SKUs. I have almost 50% left on my 500GB HDD after deleting some games I'm not playing anymore, but that still leaves me with over a dozen games installed that have well over 1000 hours of gameplay, not counting multiplayer games.

tl;dr: If you want the 500 GB is plenty regardless of whether you're going to have tons of games installed since it holds plenty, and because external storage is far cheaper than the 500 GB difference between the two consoles if you need the storage later.

Ugh, seriously? They rushed this title too? Microsoft needs to quit allowing titles to be released unready. After reading your complaint, I'm glad I waited to get Rare Replay. *sigh*

Awesome! It'll be nice to have the entire franchise on a single console as I want to get my wife to try this series. As for the person wanting BL2, the Handsome Collection is frequently on sale and includes everything for BL2 and BL:TPS, at least to my knowledge it does. I played through the Pre Sequel a few times and didn't notice any missing content. (TPS is a great game for any who haven't tried it yet.)

I'm curious as to why people are looking forward to this game so much. With Halo 5, Battlefront, et.al., I'd assumed this game is just an also-ran title. Is there some interesting mechanic that I'm missing that isn't obvious in the previews/trailers, or, is it a story thing?
