It doesn't mean to some people the Vita doesn't rock. If you have money to spend and have somewhat of a Attention Deficit Disorder you should buy it by all means. To everybody their own taste. I think the Vita catters for men between 11 to 21. I already see the thumbs down comming. Peace!!!!!!!! =)

I think Sony came up with the Vita because the PSP is an oldie and also to get their share of the handheld market which is expanding a little too fast. Get on the bus, the only thing you see is people with handheld devices ; they can't think for themselves and just ''be'' for 1 minute...but that's my opinion. I just believe it was a tryout to see how well they will compete and they will get their cash back for sure. The only nebulous thing is the whole shebang about the price tag, the memory cards being unique and rather small capacitywise...and the game price tag. I'm a Sony fanboy, but I'm never going to touch a Vita. I'd rather get a Nintendo DS. I personally like my quality games on a big screen and not tied to a tiny screen with 3 hours of battery on a full charge. To me the Vita is like playing cards, solo! I'd just rather do something else if given the choice. The marketing might be a success, but it doesn't change the fact you are not getting your money's worth. Critics do point out the flaws. When I'm thinking about buying a game, the critics I consider the most are the negative ones for they point out the most annoying things that could occur in the game, and then I decide If the positive outweight the negative. To me the Vita'S negative aspects win the race.

ALthough I don't have the Vita, I agree with Mark. And here's why. It's now 2012 and there are a lot of portable devices out there. The retail price of video games is so high, people actually have to make decisions when it comes to what games they are going to buy. At 69$+tax I wanted to buy Skyrim but will wait for a game I want more, Twisted Metal. The point is, If you have a portable device such as the Vita, are you willing to buy a game 40£ or are you going to spend that 40£ elsewhere, like on a PS3/XBOX360/PC/Wii game that will actually be worth the money(if you choose the game well that is lol). The question is, how do you value the games you will be buying? I don't believe there are alot of people willing to pay that price for games on the Vita when you can get another device that will let you do many more things in a more efficient manner. This is the WIFI age, and any device that won't let you browse, email, play games, gps, text, word apps in a maximized manner just fails short. Sure, we can all agree the Vita is not a phone. IMO it's just a new PSP that tries to compete with all the smart phones and the IPads out there but fails at it. Just the mention of the memory card and USB charger not being compatible with other devices would be a good enough reason for me not to buy. Add to that the price, the limitability and the lack of polish and you get your answer.

Thumbs up...I don't get why people feel the need to bash you because of your personal review...everybody has different tastes, being the reason there are more than 1 review. Alot of games are broken but yet innovative. Others game are repetitive with no soul and yet have beautiful graphics(Gears of War). Some games are jewels you will remember your whole life. Neverdead seems to be broken, A LOT, but seems fun enough to play. I'm not saying I would spend 60$ on that game. But it doesn't mean you wouldn't want to play through it. And remember there is no purpose to complaint about a reviewer. Everyone has their opinion. If you like a game, cool. If someone else hate that game, well, it's not your problem. The review is just to demonstrate the highlights, both good and bad, concerning a game. If the bad points are things that are important to you then take this useful info to make your choice wherther or not to buy the game. If you don't mind, just buy it. But don't complaint about someone else's review. If your not happy then just do your own review and stop whining.

Nintendo had great systems....NES, GB, Super Game boy, GBA, not the virtual boy, N64, Gamecube, and the wii...If they can create a new console with backward comptability and hd it's a win. they just need to bring more games for adults like ps and xbox. Mario games are cute, but I'm 27 and I need depth, story, thrill, challenge. Don't start about how hard it is to get all the stars in Mario Galaxy; I DON'T CARE. I don't care about trophies and collectables. I care about the actual story and the game. Cuteness is cute only for so long. I need Silent Hill, Ninja Gaiden, Resident Evil(yeah i know Wii has RE4 and it's GREAT), Socom,Metal Gear........I'm a PS fanboy, YES! But I was a Nintendo fanboy way before. But as you grow older, as do your interest toward kid's games. Nintendo could publish games for adutl. would it be hard to create a Zelda a little in the style of Legacy of Kain, with blood and monsters? It would be easy. But I guess Nintento wants to cater to their customers in Asia. And that is exactly the reason why I will not buy the next Nintendo console; it's not for adults!
