yes,i had played closed beta for a little over a month then became bored.whenever i replied on this site about dcu in a topic everyone would say i had no idea what beta is for.ironic,considering i worked for osi for 6 years and know for a fact that beta always more about client restriction and stress.anyways,there are many things i like about the game.more than anything i am a fan of comics so i may end up going to it again later,if i become bored with rift beta.

it is bad when being born in the 80s is considered old,but i wasn't born in either80s or 90s.my oldest son was born in 94.

2012 has alot to do with galactic alignment which is a very slow process.if there is anything harmful from it,we may not see it until years later.but living past the year won't prove that is was false because it is an estimation of when the process takes place.

as far as nwo,i believe in it somewhat.the economy is worldwide as are regulations.even if certain countries didn't want to be involved in global gov,they could still be regulated by the others as a whole.i don't buy into the royal bloodline theory but the rfid chip is no longer a theory since it is already being used.

the best way to describe us in this generation,would be a real life guild.thats how i see it anyways.if i am on a job and i need people to do anything from grading to laying carpet,help with taxes,speeding ticket,problems with my kids,etc.i always have people i can go to.and i am expected to do the same for any other brother.it is much different than going to get help anywhere else,a church,gov program,because you can always trust your brother.

in many cases indentured servants had it worse than slaves because the master wasn't required to provide food or shelter.the master would charge the servant for providing it which would bring the worker into debt.also there was far less concern for the health of servants as opposed to slaves.this is one of the misconceptions when it comes to the civil war era.people in the north were just as cruel and perhaps worse,but kept pointing at the south.
