WoW is far from dying. I know the op was been sarcastic but I remember in my time of wow thier forums full of people claiming it was because they where bored of it. It got boring after TBC imo but I played untill a few months after TLK. I have no desire to go back but its really far from dying and anyone who seriously thinks it is is missing somethingAntantics

ya there is alot of us waiting for a new one to leave for.i think old republic has a chance to take away a couple million+.if it actually will,who knows.

i don't know of any accurate source online.even cge charts are estimations each year.and age,woodmont and most other expos get their numbers from cge.one thing that alot of people forget(or either aren't old enough to remember) is that early on millions of units were sold worldwide for one game,pong.even nintendo has tvg6 and 15,radio shack had multiples,radofin,bintatone,magnavox,sheen,sears,montgomery ward,atari,kmart,coleco,etc.some vendors deal in 300+ different pongs.if it even is possible to get figures for hundreds of brand names and decades of sales it should be a very large number.

the only voice that bothered me in the game is wonder woman.before some missions she has a man's voice.

i am interested to see how powers and roles are activated using console.knowing how that works would give better insight on how things can be improved on the pc version. right now you can have 6 powers loaded but you can switch roles,ie. tank,control,damage.

Thats true of every single MMO out there.

no this game has plenty of end game content.i actually didn't expect any at all considering it was beta.but there are lots of trials and raids to do over and over for better gear,there is arena,and also achievements.of course i could just roll up another character.but my problem isn't end game,it is the game.there is so much wrong with it that i don't know where to begin.

MMO beta's are very representative of the final product, at that point, nobody should expect any major changes because their not going to come.

People use the Beta excuse with every single MMO (just look at FFXIV) and nothing actually ever changes. Beta's for MMO's are more about stress tests then actual gameplay changes.

so true,when i worked at osi it was all about client restriction.that was pretty much the sole purpose of uo beta.

i think some of the power activation problemswill be taken care of,target error,chat and login errors.but that is probably being a bit optimistic.the core problem with the game is advancement and combat which will likely take years.
