Thanks a lot for the fast replies! ;)

So I think it's decided..... it doesn't break suddenly, it plays Blu-Ray, it has great exclusives and every single game in my priority list will be available for the console, I'll buy a PS3, just waiting for the price drop in September (my aniversary is in september! SWEET!)

But the console doesn't break suddenly like the X360, right? I have to know, because I live in Brazil, and I intend to buy it in the US (it costs 4 times more here) so I won't have any warranty.

I am seriously thinking on buying a PS3 or a Xbox 360.

But I've read a lot of complaints on the Xbox 360 hardware. Not only RRoD problems! it seems the 360 hardware is horrible, so, I would like to know if the PS3 has any of those issues, so I can choose which plataform to buy.

Sorry, I don't really know what the CPU and GPU are XD

But I know that in older Xbox versions, they used to overheat, causing that horrible RRoD (or three red lights) problem, usually, rendering the system unusuable..... The failure rate of the Xbox 360 used to be extremely high in it's older versions, but since the Falcon was released, the failure rate dropped, now it's a preety stable system, but problems still happen, so in August, they'll release the Xbox 360 Jasper, that should put an end to the RRoD problem, caused by overheating.

I wouldn't worry to much about that, since Microsoft has extended the Xbox 360's warranty. The only problem (which is my case) is if you're not american, and intend to buy the 360 in the USA..... I plan to do that because I'm brazilian, and the 360 cost four times more here.... but I'll wait until the Jasper come out, since I can't afford to have a boken system here...

The Zephyr Chip had a 90nm CPU and a 90 nm GPU

The Falcon chip has 65nm CPU and 90 nm GPU

And the Jasper chip will have a 65nm CPU and a 65nm GPU.

Since Jasper's GPU is smaller than Falcon's, a Xbox 360 Jasper should de cooler.

Would buying a 360 without warranty be a deal? It's because I live in Brazil, here the X360 costs 4 times more, I would buy it in the US, but I wouldn't have warranty...

I seriously want to buy a X360, but I've got a big problem: I was born in the wrong place. I'm brazilian, and a Premium Pack here costs about 2200 Reais, something like 1250 Dollars (Yes, 1250 dollars for a 360). So, there's absolutely no way to buy it here. My plan was to buy it in the US, but I wouldn't have any warranty.

Does anyone know if Jasper is really coming out in August? Can it possibly be imune to the 3RL problem?

Also, I wanted to know if the X-Clamp Fix actually fixes the 360. IGN indicated this site (http://www.x-clamp-fix.com/catalog/index.php?cat=c1_X-Clamp-Fix.html), it sells a kit to repair the Xbox.

I've been seriously thinking on buying a X360, but now I hear too many stories like that. The biggest problem is that I'm brazilian, and a X360 Premium Pack here costs 2299 Reais, something like 1250 Dollars (I'm serious), so my plan was to buy a 360 in the US, but I wouldn't have any warranty. So, I'm not going to buy a 360.
