One time I was in my college class when my retarded history teacher saw me reading Nintendo Power(during break), and she said I wasn't allowed to read it during class.  When I pointed out that it was our break she said she didn't care and that video games were a waste of time and I should be spending my break doing homework instead of reading Nintendo Power(even though she let other kids go in the hallway instead of doing homework).

Then she said that she hated video games and they were bad for your brain.  So I showed her an article in Nintendo Power about an educational video game that was releasing soon and she said it didn't look all that educational to her.

Don't closed minded adults like this piss you off?  Tell me your views on this subject.

My favorite series is the Legend of Zelda series and the worst game in that series in my opinion is the second Legend of Zelda game for the NES.  I just couldn't make myself like that game no matter how much I tried.

I just subscribed to the Console Classix(a website where you can download old games, including game boy games, up to the SNES era, but no games after the SNES games) full service for $5 a month, and at first everything was working fine.

When I got back, I played Wario Land 2 for a while, then exited.  When I tried to start a different game after a while, I got an error message that said "Connection Error.  Please try again."  Then I went to the website and tried playing the games directly from the website.  The games wouldn't load and I got an error message that said "Error Receiving Data: 10054".

If anyone has used the full service for the Console Classix site, could you please give me step by step instructions on how to correct this problem?  I tried e-mailing them, but got no response after waiting for a while.  The site said to try either disabling the firewall or allowing connections on port#11001, but I mostly game using my Wii/DS, and I don't know how to do these things.  Could someone give me step by step instructions on how to do these two things?  My computers both use Microsoft Windows XP(Home Edition).  Thanks.

If anyone has any other ideas on how to fix this problem, or if you've encountered similar problems with other online gaming sites, please submit them.  Thanks.  Please help me.  I really want the Console Classix(full version) to work for me.  Yes, I installed everything, including the update to the full version of Console Classix.

Today when I turned on my Wii to play Super Paper Mario and went to the disc channel, I got a message that said the Wii was receiving updates, and to wait a minute.  After the screen that said the Wii was updating disapeared, It went to a screen that asked my country of residence.  After selecting the United States, I got a message that said "Your Wii console has a screen burn-in reduction feature.  To use it, activate it in Wii Settings".

What does a screen burn-in reduction feature mean anyway?  I'm confused.  Also, has anyone else gotten this message before?  Is this something I want to activate, or does it not really matter anyway?  What will be the difference if I activate the screen burn-in reduction feature?  Please answer my question.  I'm really confused by this message.

Yeah, pretty much every single adult that I've played video games against has sucked.  If you want to read more about my opinions on this, I posted a long thread in the Mario Party 8 board with more information.  I'm college age myself(already graduated), but I'm not THAT old yet.

On another note, doesn't it annoy you how even if you're college age(not moved ahead years and in college) most adults will still treat you like you're still a child even if they're only a few years older than you?  I hate how they do that to you.  It's so annoying and cocky sounding when they treat you that way.  They think they're so much better and smarter than you just because they're older than you, when I could probably cream most of  those cocky adults at video games easily.

I want the game boy/game boy color/game boy advance series to come to the virtual console.  If they added those, I would be very happy.

There is an old game I wanted to see if I could download for free from a website that lets you download old games, but I can't remember what it's called.  Can you help me if you can remember what it's called?  Here is a description of the game:

It's an old black and white game that used the original floppy disks where you type in text commands.  It's not a text only adventure game, it has graphics.  The starting screen of the game has you near an ocean or a sea or lake or something, but if you try to swim in it, you'll eventually drown.  The next couple of screens have you meeting little red riding hood and then you go into a house and if you don't find the gun or something, the wolf eats you.

Other screens it has(although these might be from another early adventure game, I can't remember)are a screen with a witch's cave and if you try to walk past it, she drives over you in her hot rod, killing you.  I remember one time I got close to the end of the game and there was a castle with a moat, and I tried to swim across it and drowned or got eaten by alligators or something.

If anyone knows what game(or games) I'm talking about, could you please tell me the names so I can download them?  Thanks.  I used to play these games when I was younger on our family's first computer and I felt like playing them again.  I need something to do while I wait for the Wii games I pre-ordered to come in.

The only games where I have had trouble with the controls not responding sometimes is in some of the games in WarioWare:Smooth Moves, sometimes it will not recognize the motions, and in Wii Sports bowling, no matter what I do, the ball almost always curves to the left.  I'd have to say that so far, the game with the best controls is Twilight Princess.  I never have problems with that game sensing my movements.
