this looks familiar too. i used to manually have to switch my ethernet cables between my pc and ps3 to my modem since i have no router. if i didnt reset my modem by powering it off and back on before the ps3 connected id get this.
I think if I remember right after you search the four houses on the hill on the way up, the last barn is on top of the hill and has a field a couple acres large in front of it first impeded by a fence with a dirt road cutting through the middle. The large barn you need to go in is in the back left (as how you are facing approaching it), and there is a closer shack on the left and another one to the right of the barn. Try redoing the whole mission if you dont see it happening this way. Im pretty sure it is scripted that that last barn is the fifth one you are supposed to search since the next stage starts in that barn.
my concerns are same as others that it'll affect balance. Balance is Warhawks greatest strength, so I trust they'll get it right. One of my freinds complaints about warhawk is that there were no APCs. This is definately an awesome answer to that. I think this will grap a field focus when one of these floats across. A couple hawks and a missile launcher can take it down, but itll mean a little teamwork, and anything in Warhawk that bolsters more of a teamwork mentality is good for me.
Over thr course of the last month an odd video anomoly has been happening with my PS3. In either component or composite there have been odd scanlines crawling up my screen. They can be described as rather fat (about 10-15% of screen height) rather graduated in thier luminosity, and take about 10 sec to crawl up the screen. This artifact happens in both composite and component, and does not happen when I plug an old XBOX up to my tv (component). This makes me think it is the PS3 and not the TV. Im calling Sony tomorrow and think Ill have it sent in regardless since its still under warranty, still of course I like to bounce feedback from all of you if anyones had this problem.
So if I install Windows on my PS3 will I be able to play PC games, namely orange box?CronoStrife
Somehow with installing linux on your ps3 you can install a windows emulator. you gotta know what you are doing though and if you figure it out let us know as i have wasted hours on the net and in syntax to make sense of thiis. unix makes me *Sigh* feel dumb.
Ok before we all blow our loads on UT3 I would like to hear more details.
1. Will it support dedicated servers?
2. How will mouse and keyboard support work
3. If we can't have 32 players like the PC then will the maps scale down?

I keep faith in that all PC players will have the PS3 console version also has. Have you noticed that in the PC reviews the server browser is "console like"? Still it is a wait and see. Really with the PS3s ease of USB keyboard compatability and mouse compatability (my mouse is five years old and works fine) having a foremostly PC developer integratinting these already available to the PS3 peripherals are completely accessable. The 32 player thing just might be up to connection issues, and the one thing that may still fall subject to PSN being able to handle it. Still historically a playstation connecting through the internet is in little need of a service such as XBL. The fact of the XBL sevice existing is the lead rumor the 360 version remains behind, especially when unrestricted mod content comes to play. Its a wait and see. I'm just gladd that they pushed and managed to get the game out somewhat within the window they said.
I had a choice between getting AC or Drake. I got AC and still think i rathr should've got Drake. Yes AC has a storyline only bested by the Deus Ex series, but after reading manymany reviews of both, and playing at least one of those, I feel that AC may have been the lessaer choice. Still rogerjak... AC and DUF are both action titles. They are comperable. I have at least played they drake demo. AC plays really smooth (I gave a full review, click on my username) and I do like it, but between the two I do feel Im missing out on a good game in drake from having to choose one or the other,
