I don't think in have ever seen a year so loaded for 1 console. EVER! Its crazy, especially since I grew up on Japanese games, mainly the RPGs 2016 on the PS4 looks like freaking HEAVEN!!! Its ridiculous the amount of games coming. PS4 should absolutely kill it worldwide!! Dragon Quest 11 BABYYYYYYY :)

PlayStation 2 from my Ant, with 2 games right near the launch of it! But my other one from my mom, was my Gameboy Advance and Suikoden 2:)

@Samslayer: Yeah, pretty much all the Western open world RPGs have the same styled worlds. They are always so similar. That is one reason I particularly enjoyed Bloodborne, it was very unique and different. Plus it was big and you could explore but it was still focused and more linear then other games. It was VERY GOOD. I personally enjoy the "bloodborne" types of level designs and worlds

Is it just me, or does it look like MGSV and Bloodborne were the clear top 2, with Witcher or Rocket League being number 3 by the way these lists play out??? Also, Bloodborne was my number 1 and MGSV was my number 2 so I really like the personal tastes of most Gamespot employees :) (And shout out to the dude who put Final Fantasy Type Zero in his list.. That's awesome)

@dmblum1799: I actually completely agree with you. The weak and non expanding combat was the MAIN reason I couldn't keep playing the game after 12 hours.... Bloodborne was my Game of the Year with MGSV following close behind!

I really don't agree that rocket league should be ahead of Bloodborne and MGSV.... Sure, its a fun game but COME ON. BB and MGSV are freaking full retail AAA masterpieces (or at least, close to masterpieces)!!

@wayneextremity: You sound like you have hatred toward Sony... Are you a fanboy??? And Bloodborne was a amazing game, my personal favorite game of the year. I seriously doubt that you played ANY Sony games with a comment like yours....

@polishfish: It wasn't the best idea to alienate Tomb Raider biggest fanbase. (PlayStation users). Its mind blowing really, the reboot even sold better on BOTH, the PS3 and PS4 then both the X360 and Xone. Really mind-blowing business decision, the series has always been associated more a PS franchise then any other really.
