It might be because Sony's manufacturers give them higher discounts, but if you saw the insides of both consoles and know about IC, the PS5 is... "obviously" cheaper. The components are cheaper, larger (easier to manufacture). With the revisions, they're focusing on cutting costs where possible too.
Xbox Series X on the other hand is extremely customized (Series S less so), it's probably harder to mass manufacture because of so many custom components.
As for how "obviously" PS5 costs less to make... I wouldn't say it is too obvious, because the console still costs more...
PS Plus subs down from last year... even though all PS Now members were converted automatically to PS Plus too. I'm not quite surprised, this new anti-Japan, global, Jim Ryan-led Sony is not one to hold a candle for the good old Sony.
@m4a5: Oh yeah? Sony last year announced they are not losing on PS5 hardware anymore. Nintendo also did within one year of the Switch's launch. And people still trying to compare the $500 beast of a machine to A) PS5 (which is obviously cheaper, at least manufactured cheaper...) and B) PCs (which, of the same compute capacity cost about twice the price and are usually twice as big and ten times as loud).
So your comparison to "every console" doesn't really stand.
Wow. The game has no text or speech whatsoever besides the handful of strings in the menus.
This should've been my game, but I was getting extremely annoyed at Act 3-II or so. I felt no need to progress, the puzzles were not great and the sameish looking pathways didn't help with orienteering in a labyrinth, and the "gun" was very bad to handle. This game was the least accessible game I played in a long time. I really wanted to like this game, which makes it doubly annoying.
