I have a four port wireless router set up in our office. Three of the four ports are being used by computers and our Tivo. Now I want to connect my 360, PS3, and a computer I have in the living room to our network. However, I do not want to do it wireless. Mainly because I've found wireless to be annoying, slow, not extremly reliable and do not want to buy a wireless adapter for the 360 and computer.
At the moment, I've set up a 50ft ethernet cord, that runs through the walls and can connect to any of the three devices I want to connect. However, I have to constantly disconnect the cord from the 360, to the PC, and to the PS3. Can I set up another router in the living room, and have that connect to the router in the office to split the internet connection again? Or do I need a switch or hub? I'm fairly ignorant about such things, and any help someone can offer would be appreciated. I have a multitude of shorter 10ft and under network cords so this would be the ideal solution for me.
