Well, they do seem to be using more of the scale anyway. And it pushes the developer to choose between giving a game an 8.0 or a 9.0, whereas before it easy to copout with an 8.5.
People said the same thing at the turn of the seventh generation when review scores went from the 0.1 scale to the 0.5 scale. A lot of people complained, but then people just got used to it.
Capcom is a fantastic developer. Way better than Valve. They are responsible for some of the greatest games of all time. Everyone on System Wars is a bandwagoned PC gamer, and anything that doesn't fit the agenda is demonized.
Is saying FEAR supposed to entice us into buying it or something? It was a mediocre game. And yes, I did play it on the PC. I bought a physical copy before I even knew what Steam was.
Yeah, I don't think it's quite as simple as you say. If the design is so poor that it allows players to get away with being able to sit behind the same cover the whole playthrough, then you're playing a bad game.
I can't say how I think Charizard1605 makes these topics of appraisal for PC games to pleasure the PC gamer audience he so desperately wants to appease in quite the way I want, without provoking moderator intervention, but I will say that these games suck dick and that I hate that I own the fourth and fifth one (System Wars told me they were fun!).

All this Dark Souls 2 coverage has me itching to give Dark Souls another chance. I have the poverty 360 version but I kinda wanna get the PC version when it gets to $5 again. Thing is, how is Games for Windows Live shutting down gonna affect it? Is it gonna screw up my save or anything?
The PC version reportedly has a lot of hackers. I've heard even PC gamers say this. On top of that, you have to play with a bunch of autistic, self-important basement-dwellers, so I don't know if that's worth putting up with just to get a slightly better performance on a much smaller screen.
How come when console gamers point out that the consoles all have AAAA games but PC doesn't in all the time it's been around, they say that no one game matters and that it's the collective library of the PC that puts console games to shame. Yet you probably can't name any other six year old PC game that looks better than Watch Dogs.
By the way, I don't care about Watch Dogs, but I do care about the inconsistency of PC gamers.
I hate every game you mentioned, but since I hate Valve so, so much, I'm going to go with Call of Duty. At least with Call of Duty, I get to play with a bunch of chill brodudes, whereas with Counter Strike, I have to deal with a bunch of pretentious neckbeards.
