Not everything should be consumed, and that is especially true of children. I think it is being grown up to actually care and take responsibility for what my child consumes. Someone who needs a lot of maturing would disregard it and just think they should fill their kid's heads with garbage. Or they would pass on that responsibility to others.

As it turns out, while I did think this movie was pretty bad, I did not think it had a lot of the garbage or pandering I was asking about.

I said pandering (I could have said more, but thought that would be the most inane and least likely to ruffle sensitive feathers). Pandering can be done to all sorts of groups.

People really seem to like their crap.

Glad it was on Peacock so I didn't even have to waste time/gas driving to the theater.

This just doesn't look interesting to me.

Perhaps I'm just over platformers at my age.

The last few Mario games haven't really held my interest either. The last one I really liked was Sunshine, though I did finish the first Galaxy and Odyssey.
